Hey I'm moving to San Diego on October 11th and I was just wondering if anyone here was planning on hitting the The Roots San Diego show on October 15th. Just trying to avoid going to the show by myself, and wondering how easy it would be to get to the venue, seeing as though I won't have a car.

I actually don't know yet. Work is moving me down there, so they haven't booked my housing for me yet. But I imagine I'll be at one of the Oakwood Corporate housing complexes, not sure which one or where they are in San Diego

None are listed on ticket master or live nation websites. Traditionally the OAT is all ages with beer available to patrons 21 and over. Call the box office exact details.

Is 'handle' (me, Tom) going to the show?
I usually resist being in large crowds-- until I relent and beg for free tickets. So I'd expect that I'll end up and the show

one thing i hate the most about concerts but it's never avoidable..especially at shows held at colleges

i saw the roots at ucsd last fall and every single guy around me was like that

Yeah, i was at that UCSD last fall also. There was a bunch of white/azn kids who listen to punk music and had no idea who the roots were. But the roots still rocked the hell out of them. SDSU is a different atmosphere tho because it's not a free show for students. People who pay for the show and show up are root fans so no gay frat guys screaming at you.
