FL6 is no longer cutting it for me...

what software (or hardware) do y'all suggest for timestretching...

Ableton makes it SOO EASY to just drop joints in and warp and
stretch them.

yea i definately recommend cool edit 2.0

Theres alot wrong with today. It kills to ignore it but it doesnt hurt to care.

Always CHOP whatever you are stretching into manageble parts...

The shorter the chop, the better the stretch.

I like fl6's stretching peronally. The option to stratch to 1 bar or 2 or 4 makes stuff so easy.

what fl6 can do.

I've actually been really impressed with their stretching, especially if you use the fruity slicer

I mean, how MUCH are you trying to stretch something, cause there's a limit to what's gonna work for ANY software.

but FL or Cool Edit are great for that kind of thing if you don't have hardware.
