"programming midi note repeat"

I'm working with a korg microkontrol. I've created a pretty decent scene to use with Battery 2.

However, i'm tryin to see if any of y'all know how to program a midi note repeat function without having to draw one in the piano roll? I know that new padkontrol supposed to let you do it, but i ain't tryin to pay $200 for drum rolls.

Holla

if you are running it as a vst in say, cubase, you can
use MIDI vst's to do beat repeats, arpeggio's etc.
couple with on off envelopes for the midi effect.
