Otherwise, I do ALL THE RECORDING in Cubase, vocals etc, since it's a superior mixing program and you can load vst's to massage your sound, and in addition, you can't record JACK in Reason anyway. I usually just the synths play through, but if I want to record a bar of synth, say, a bass line, I can do that, record the synth being played by a midi part in cubase acting on that synth in Reason, record just the AUDIO of that channel, for a bar i.e. "resampling" then re-import it back into my project as just audio, and then mix. This you do if you are running out of cpu power, which surprisingly, reason rewired into cubase does NOT take up alot of cpu at all for half a dozen instruments.
