easy to assign channels/notes
velocity is easy to control
and you can create your own presets
i haven't used it in a while, but when i do heavy chops or busy drum sequencing i enlist that joint
very user friendly, you prolly wont even have to use the instruction manual
and if you one of my software cats, its comes with this software called Enigma, which you can assign samples on computer mock-up of the trigga fanga, almost TOO easy, but so dope. Wish i was up on software like that, cus Reason + Trigger Finger = Rocky IV

for my trigger finger for the first time, hooked up my trigger finger to my pc just to begin the learning process. You should go to the M-audio site, I was going to go there I think I saw some free tutorials for the trigger finger on there site & the official trigger finger manual is up there as well. To answer your question I was able to figure out how to assign the pads, knobs and sliders in one night, and I didn't know a damn thing about that stuff before hand man..lol. So you shouldn't have any problems.
