Anyone ever sell some gear for some new shit, but then regret selling it?
Like I sold my MPC for a software rig. The software is way more capable and I am happy with it. But I miss my mpc. It had a certain feel and sound to it...

...then I was like "what the fuck was I thinking?", and copped another 4 months later for $400 less than what I sold my old one for. A true come-up if I ever heard of one!
Now, I ain't NEVER gonna sell this joint...the goal is to become the master of it and never upgrade. I'm past my romance with new gear phase...learn what you got and bang the holy fuck out of it is the code I obey.

It's official. I got 90% of my gear from it. I got the motu 828 mkII for $550 instead of $800 in stored. Met the guy in manhattan the next day to pick it up. Just check the sellers feedback. If they have over 100 positive and no negative (or very few, 1 or 2), then you are good to go. Only thing I didnt get from ebay was my PC that I built, my RNC compressor I bought new, and my cz-101 keyboard I got used at sam ash. Sound card, an1x keyboard, lexicon effects, etc etc all ebay.

I've been in some serious pinches where I've considered selling the suitcase Seventy-Three...hell, I'm in one right now. But I'm glad I've whethered the storm and kept the 'ol girl. I'm never gonna find another in this condish for $350. Never. Good thing I bought it from a guitar player who really didn't know what he was sitting on.

I sold my Roland R8 with 3 cards (Dry, Electronic, and Dance) and my R5 so I could get a ProMix01.
The shop that I was going to buy the ProMix from sold it an hour before I got there (It was supposed to be on hold for me), and since I sold the R8 to a guy in Australia and the R5 went to Denmark, there was no chance of buying them back.
I still had my R8mkII, but it just wasn't the same as having all 3 machines at once.

I dont recall exact numbers, you can look it up on ebay, but its a small fee for posting the auction and then I think a tiny % of selling price of the item.
