If you right click in that blue area you can select "Browse Samples..." from there you can pick any sounds you want to load in. =========================================== -Me
you automate the different patterns you've made on the redrum by simply pushing the Rec-button, and make sure that the redrum-channel on the sequencer has that red circle on it, then play your song and change it manually.... that way Reasn will "record" the changes in pattern...
hmm... maybe that didn't make a whole lot of sense...

..not sure if you'll find it easier though. In the sequencer window you've got a whole bunch of controller lanes (I think they are yellow for the redrum-pattern-chosing-thing).. here you can select which patterns u want the redrum to play... you select e.g. "A1" in the popup-menu and then draw with the pen-tool for as many bars u want it to play...
The blue "lanes" are for changing everything else I think, like Pitch, Length etc....

i think its called discovering reason. they go over almost every module in pretty good detail. the documentation that comes with reason is also topnotch, most people just need to get off their ass and read thru it

So I dled the demo...tried to use Sub and Mal, but do I need a midi controller to actually use it or do they have something like a piano roll like in FL?
I do have one, but 1) the drivers are not XP comp and 2) I would need to cop a midi card for the computer.
