Another record I'm on is master drummer Charli Persip's new big band record called "Intrinsic Evolution". I wrote/arranged the title track and am featured throughout the record. I also have another arrangement on it. You can check it out here: http://cdbaby.com/cd/charlipersip I played in his band for about 6 years also his quintet, he's a dear friend of mine. One of the coolest people I've ever met and he's gonna be 80 this year and you'd think he was 25 with all the energy he has. I'm on some pop records and such lol. I'm on a Joan Osborne record..and some various singer-songwriters..a few other jazz cats..nothing that hardcore. I'm going to make another record sometime in the near future. I have all the material composed..actually I have enough for 2 more records and both concepts are completely different so I'm not sure which one to do first. Right now I'm also focused on finishing my "mixtape" which features several beats of mine, some rhymes but mostly my R&B/Neo-soul songwriting/singing and production. I play flute and saxophone on a couple tracks and a little trumpet. I'm hoping to post it on datpiff before september this year. I'm not living in the city right now for financial reasons..so I've had to turn down some record dates because it just wasn't viable. I'm figuring out where the best place for me to be is right now...maybe the bay. For the time-being I'm in my home town in central Ohio. I'm always down to collab via the internet. I've tried on here a few times but people mostly just go on here to advertise rather than give any kind of valuable feedback. There are a few cool ones on here like you guys though.
