thanks for the comments my man, yeah i definitely hear what your saying. i was thinking of adding some keys and switching the drums up a little, maybe take another section from the sample and chop it up a bit more...just testing the forums, been a minute since i put up some stuff. thanks again for the honest critique.
But you've got to work on the drum work, first and foremost. You'll pick up everything else eventually once you float around these internet forums and what not. Eventually, you're gonna have to learn how to chop and make you're own basslines as well. But don't fret, with patience, you'll get there.

I'm not really feeling the rest of them however.
It's pretty difficult to flip most classical standards, especially peter Tchaikovsky. I would have never gone anywhere NEAR the Nutcracker, but cuts were pretty decent. The drums kill it for me though, as well as Enchanted Forrest, which sounded pretty good aside from the drums.
But all the material on your page is better than the zshared 4 you posted. I hope you find your mc's, but believe me, try to live without them for little while longer. You might find yourself creating a sound to compensate for the lack of mc's that sound pretty interesting.

I do feel what dude was talking about as far as the drums a lil distorted but honestly I think that adds a lil effect to it. I love the voice clips they really fit some stuff that I'd write to. Hit me up if you think we could do a collab on something too.

The Michael joint is cool. I like the way the beat drop on that. I seems like a horn is ready to scream in there but it never comes. Kind of disappointing though eventually the beat dropped but that horn never shined through really.

Like I feel like that mix with the horns on it is maybe hot. Sounds like it could be repetitive but I like horns like that so I probably have a biased view on it.
THANKS!! all the instruments are live except the horns..i sampled the horns off a record because i wanted that "sound"..but then i layered it with my trumpet and sax to fill out the harmony...everything else is live....thanks again man..

im real new to makin beats, ive played around with fruity loops a bit and some other music production programs but i can never get my drums sounding "natural" if u know what i mean.
Ive listened to u guys beats and theyre all fresh as, do u use computer programs or samplers? or both. Aight well i should probly post something lol
Only one beat on my page at the moment which i made ages ago and just found then. I used Garageband on my laptop which is some crappy program but its all i got at the moment. The keyboards are weak and i dont think they suit the drums at all but gimme some tips etc. ive gotta start somewhere. cheers

Funny that this was done last spring. A mofo moved out to Arizona and now the spotlight is on. Now mofos got fed up and it took A&E a show to expose these criminals.

I liked the beat a lot. Sounds like sampling meets synths. I wasn't feeling dudes flow. He lacked a lot of delivery, but the potential is certainly there. keep at it.

You know, it's been a while since my last update, my mind has been traveling, searching for something new, something different, something to break the routine. These travels have brought me into conflict with the type of sound I'm use to hearing when making beats. I found myself at the edge of sound and it was scary down there....battling these beats I had to push myself to the limit then break it. I had to start attacking SOUNDwaves.

wasn't feeling Charlie Wilson over the synths fam ... I can imagine some top 40 singer on it though. Charlie over those synths just wasn't enjoyable...
