Okay then, I posted new Beats on the page. Any feedback would be cool.... Illest- Lyrics by Dramatic With me (old skool)- Instrumental w/ John Legend hook Tribal Instrumental- Playing with some ill changes and combos
Illiest: Cool track. The emcee is descent to good, but doesn't show enough personality to be memerable. Effective old-school sounding track with enough energy.
With Me: Good groove. I like the change on the verse, but the bassline-heavy sample that drops in halfway thru clashes with that cool guitar lick. You might be better off programming a bassline.
Tribal: Dope track, especially when the vocal cuts get out of the way.

like your chops on inst99, very smooth...karate poet is chilled out and well mixed..who is on the vocals there? i wouldnt have minded change ups either, but what u have is solid. check mine out since u are the only checking others out and give me some feedback...thanks...ps the more things change is nice too...ur chops are very natural...and flow with the beat...i need to work on that...

Junk: Sounds like, um, junk. Sloppy, on a metal-fingers tip. That bright at the begining that comes back in is jarring. When I hear it I want it to stop. Hard to hear emcees on this...
Steppin' Along: Start is strong.....it just changed, again the high end is jarring. Maybe it's a mixing issue. Some samples too high.
Tearz: I like this one better. But that horn stab is not signifigant enough to sustain the song.
Awaken Sun: I knew I'd like this when it started. Best mix. I could definately hear some NY MC's rippin this.
Jive Turkey: Best track. Has the most personality. Used space the best out of all of them. It's not just where the sound is, but also where it isn't.

This is cool. The bass is poppin nicely. I'm just not crazy about the hook. Like it could be stronger, both in the lyrics and delivery. Maybe it's just me. I'm also judging you on a national standard. This is very professional sounding, and I know you got the potential to blow. But if I were a label I'd say the single needs to be stronger, more fun to sing along to.

I aint like 'Love Still' to tell the truth, bit too abstract for me, but i like the other 2, made nice use filters on 'Taste Of Honey' (You used filters right?) The Melody on 'Made 4 U' is tight, but the drums throw me off a little, other than that i like it.

stroke: Yowzers! I would rock this. Well cut but still smooth, but that drum programming and sound choices are right on. Is this beat claimed by an emcee yet?
Closer: Nice. Another great use of space. A lot of beatmakers don't know how to leave/create space and keep a consistent mood going. You got that.
Un won: Another good beat. More by the book but good.

I like the layering you got going on in I'd find You, i considered flipping the same jawn this morning but decided against it.
The way i feel is dope too, that chick on the vocals is nice. Only think is i felt like it was missing some instrumentation or something, iono, i can't quite put my finger on it.

most recent one is a House of the Rising Sun sampled song, I whistle in this song If you consider yourself a skilled rapper or vocalist and would like to use this song, go ahead (but mind you keep it underground, I don't do clearances).
the second most recent is an Eleanor Rigby <> Nas mix. enjoy.

If you know me you know I don't 'make beats' but this is the closest I'll come.
I got a bit carried away doing a rhythm track for a song I'd been working on. I kinda like it as is though. I'll still go back sometime to put guitar and vocals and I think some more dijeridu when time isn't so short...

The Future: Ok, when will it start, waiting for a beat. There it is! Nice. Bassline is thick. Trips out. This would be a good experimantal film soundtrack.
For Curtis: intro too long again. But banging beat and bassline. You don't need to follow that trend of playing 20 seconds of the song you just sampled. But a damn nice flip.
