I just copped a just blaze instrumental cd and realised that one beat is similar to J-dilla's on.....what I wanna know is who originally did that shit???

and i might lean to agree that he jacked some peoples original samples because i dont see a proof that its not true.... but to say that someone OUTDRUMMED him? you musit be used to in your face drums and maybe thats what you listen for, in YOUR FACE drums, like Jus Blaze does, but drums is what dilla is known for. no WAY will i agree that he did less drums. Just not in your face drums. not all music is supposed to be loud as hell.

Now your talking. I myself have been criticised about my trex having yo normal hip hop feel (original boom bap sound), for that I really was crucified.
Why cant people just get over the fact that not everyone is born to be a drummer, but something else. I believe that my dj skills came to the fore where I know how to fuse sounds and get away with as much as possible, that said, I created a trend and trademark.
Just imagine madlib with yesterdays new quertet,just blaze,kanye,eric sermon,dre and pete rock working one one song....thats undesirable....but thats me, only simplified....

every dope hip hop producer is KNOWN for their drums.. dilla, premo, dre, just etc.... drums are the key component
