I'm considering on getting a manager/promoter. There are some people Im considering approaching, but here is what i learned around my way (Boston, to be specific): Most promoters here WILL rip you off. We have this dude (Im not gonna name names) who promotes some very visible people. BUT, if you are a little guy, he will take advantage. What do I look for, besides reputation, in a manager/promoter? I imagine his/hers connections, but what else? Im just wondering if there is anything specific someone knows besides the common sence details

i will have to second that also very very impressive. keep doing what you do and it will pay off. and on what you ask in your post, always go with your instinct, because your instinct will never lie to you. also, ask if you my speak to a client of theirs and/or previous client to get their opinion about the manager service.
