"When's the last time a bad guy won?"

seriously, can you recall a movie where the bad guy wins? and i dont mean the stupid cliche' right before the credits roll there's a shot of the badguys eyes, and they suddenly open an then the credits. but a bad guy killing the hero, the day is not saved, and he gets away.

also, the bad guy can't be a semi-hero, as in he does something in the final scene to redeem himself, he a straight out villain.

In response to Reply # 30

The title of that short is "The Customer is Always Right". Josh Hartnett's character is called The Salesman. That segment serves as an introduction to the world of Basin City where you must always be careful who you trust and letting your guard down for a moment can get you killed. Her character is unrelated to the rest of the film, except thematically.

I thought they was showing a little older after she found out hartigan was dead. They kept mentioning she was running from something. I figured it was Nancy a couple years down the line sick of running and hired Josh Hartnet to kill her.

Hell i was just drawing too much into it.

She was the prostitute that sold out Old Town to the cops and forced Clive Owen to kill all those heads in the alley way, the prostitute that Benicio Del Toro is fucking with when Yuki swings in and kills the dudes. It shows that you NEVER get away with dirt in Sin City, and they'll find you and kill you.

I only watched it once so far, though, so you're prolly right.

Alexis Bledel she the one from Gilmore girls i was glad she got killed.

The one we arguing about is the one ho got killed in the beginning. She is the customer but i was trying to say she was Nancy at an older age who got sick of running.

When me and a buddy of mine were little kids, we each wrote a letter to the creators of the GI Joe animated series asking them why they never let Cobra win, even if it was just once.
