that *loves* eyes wide shut... and the flashback/dream scenes of Kidman and the naval officer are classic, because of their choppy nature and soundlessness... so simple and short... i think the second snippet, kidman rolls down her panties... those sex scenes become so central to the film, but total, we only see maybe 12 seconds or so??? i think that's pretty intense to think about...

It's a French flick, maybe from the 80s, and BAM it just straight opens with this scene that's maybe not crazy original in terms of what's going down (and he is), but to see it the first time, it had a rawness and a vibe that was so... just hot to death that it was almost unsettling.
Rest of the flick is cool, too.
