"arabs call Us abeed (slave race):Kola Boof"

i think rather than women coming up w/ their own "religion" Africans need to return to their own spiritual systems made by Africans (both male and female). these to my knowledge have not caused the undue suffering, injustice and general masculine stupidity of which she speaks precisely because they put an emphasis on balance between both male and female.

this was forwarded to me, you know i am usually good about referencing.

excerpts from this are found in ya Shet's sig.

***********it begins here****************

The following statement by womanist writer Kola Boof is in response to
continuing death threats by Muslim fundamentalists from Ms. Boof's homeland,
the SUDAN. This statement also addresses complaints sent to Kola Boof by
Black American women who were upset because of comments Boof made about religion in a press release last week. *This statement is transcribed from tape recordings and prepared and updated (since being posted July 27th) by myself, Yi Nee Ling, Publicist for Kola Boof, on August 19th, 2002.

KOLA BOOF states:

There is a very real chance that I will not live to see the end of this year....contrary to what some people think, I am truly frightened for my life... what I feel right now is a suffocating loneliness that is very hard to take. I only hope that my killers won't make it painful. I will address that in full later. I will
also clarify what I said about Israel and Palestine. But first...let me say
that I do believe in God, I love God...and I have every confidence in my
role as a spiritual being. If I didn't, I would not devote my life to the
work that I do, and I would not put my life in jeopardy ... as I had to do
for my people, the Black Africans of Sudan.

This, however, does not mean that I digress from the statements that I made
last week. Religion, as I said, is NOT GOD. Religion is NOT CHRIST. Religion
is NOT ALLAH. For just as Harvard University is an institution created by
men...so is every religion. So it is my hope that the women of the world
will soon consider the important task of creating our own institution of
religion, because the ones created by men have brought nothing but
injustice, undue suffering, corruption and general masculine stupidity to
this entire planet. At some point, as womb bearers and daughters of the
earth's first Garden, we Black women must save our children's lives and at
least attempt to save the world. As a Sudanese woman representing the
Nilotic Black women of my birthplace, the Nile River, I refuse to accept the
Islamic notion that being a woman means that I am "dirty, unclean and
tempestuous" and should, therefore, be covered up from head to toe as if God
can''t stand the sight of me. No woman loves her man more than I love mine,
but I demand control of my own life. I want to create my own definition of
beauty that is pleasing ... TO ME. I shall continue to bare my breasts
whenever I like, and once a month, I shall bleed in the river and thank God
for my power to bring forth life, which is the ultimate magic of a human
being. And I shall create God and God shall create me. I encourage other
women, particularly black women, to reclaim their sexual power in the
universe and to embrace authentic spiritual knowledge by creating the woman
before dreaming the man. Let us African women pray for our sister in Nigeria
who is about to be stoned to death by Islamic hypocrites, because she dared
to enforce her own personal freedom. Let us not forget that the men of
Nigeria, both Christian and Muslim, are some of the biggest whores on
earth--and if they were held accountable for their acts of adultery, then
Nigeria would become a nation made up of women and very small boys. So let
us pray that God will bring justice to our sister in Nigeria--and that she
will be allowed to raise and care for her newborn baby.

And then let us pray for Kola Boof, please. I need all the prayer I can
get. For if these Arab sandniggers intend to kill me, as they say ... then
there is nothing I can do about it. I assure you that if Arab men from North
Africa want you dead, YOU WILL DIE. So there is nothing that can be done.
Women perish everyday back home. An African woman, a black girl like me ...
she is considered nothing at all. On a daily basis, little Black GIRLS and
Black boys are stolen by Arab militias--beaten, raped, disfigured, killed,
enslaved. You see, the Arabs have a name for Black people, they call us,
"Eve's Monkey" and "Abeed" (slave race). So my life has no value to the men
who want me dead.

But I am very proud of myself. I would not change a thing that I've done,
because I feel that I have honored myself by having my say, I feel that I
have triumphed by insisting on my own freedom. I have done what my Egyptian
father asked me to do before he died ... I have become my own Queen. My
father, my Mahdi Pappuh, never felt sorry for weak people. He had six sons
who died at birth. I am the seventh child, the only one that lived. He never
forgave me for being a girl ... but I have sojourned very hard so that he
can be proud now. Because I am my own Queen, you see. I achieved it, Pappuh.
I am the Naima Sijira of Omdurman. I pray that the Americans don't ... for
one minute ... put their trust in the Arab people of North Africa and the
Middle East. It would be a grave and stupid mistake--but, of course,
Americans are famous for being grave and STUPID. The American government is
so busy being politically correct. These Arabs go on Oprah Winfrey to cry
and whine about how misunderstood they are. What good people they are. But
knowing the Arab world and Muslim men as I do--I can only pray for America's
safety ... and cry for the millions of dead Black bodies that continue to
pile up un-noticed in Africa. Of course, the Arabs have always been a great
historical enemy of Africa--it never made any difference to them that we
Africans are their parents. They killed their own mother, Egypt--because she
was Black. They killed their own mother! And once Egypt became known as "the
land that lost its color," it withered to nothing but ruins. Because, you
see, when the children don't honor the mother, the mother dies--and then the
children turn into . No identity, no direction, no real home.
That's the story of Africa and the whole human race in a cowrie shell. This
whole world is damned, because we have all dehumanized, mutilated and lied
on Mother Africa!

I am proud that I spoke out against slavery in Sudan--which I know will not
end with a mere peace agreement. In fact, the peace agreements really mean
nothing at all, because very little will change for the Black African
Southerners. We need the Arab and the Caucasoid, the Whites, to get out of
Africa. If they really want to help, then they should get the hell out. But
the fact is--they want to exploit and suck Africa dry, not help the people.
They want to trick us into accepting the White Man's mother as our own
mother--yes, the White woman, the one Caucasoid that we African women have
always been kind enough to take pity on, because she's so infantile and
two-faced, so arrogantly delusional. To our Black faces, they call us
"Sister". But that's what they've done for hundreds, for thousands of years.
Arabs and Caucasoids have never meant any good toward African people. They
hate us and teach us to hate ourselves. And I don't mind dying for being the
daughter who said it in public. A real woman never dies.

Let me say that I am very disappointed in Black leaders such as the Rev.
Jesse Jackson and Minister Louis Farrakhan, both of whom know full well that
Black African slavery has been flourishing now for over two decades at the
hands of Arab Muslims--and yet neither one has done a thing to stop it. It
seems to me that their disdain for ISRAEL surpasses their love for African
children. In fact, Minister Farrakhan is a great friend and ally to Sudan's
Arab-Islamic President and to most of the Arab regimes of North Africa. This
is how he makes his money for the Nation of Islam--by selling out the
children of Africa. The dark skinned Black ones, of course. Both of these
men, themselves children of Africa, should be ashamed to be such hypocrites.
Like so many Black Slaves in Africa--I am rooting for Israel to weaken Arab
domination in the middle east. Let us not forget that the rich Palestinian
often purchases Sudanese slaves right along with Saudi Arabia, Libya and the
rest. He, the Palestinian, also calls us "nigger", "Abeed" and "Monkey".

In closing, let me address the many e-mails and letters that I have
received from Black American women ... upset with me because my nudity
embarrasses them, upset with me because of comments that I made about
Christian religion, and upset with me because of comments I made about
Micheal Jackson.

Let me say that I truly love my Black American sisters ... and let me
remind them that we are much of the same muchness ... we are the same woman, by experience, blood and color. With all my heart, I love and take great
pride in my Black American sisters. Please don't forget, I myself was
adopted and raised by a wonderful African-American couple. In many ways, I
am a Black American woman, too. So please don't be offended when I say to
you ... My sisters, I cannot come here and be Aunt Jemima with an accent for
you. I refuse. I have no concern ... whatsoever ... with what White
Caucasoids think about my all natural, God-given bare black titties. I have
no use for people like Michael Jackson, who as far as I am concerned, has
never done a damned thing with his life to honor his own people. He's a
white man with white children! This is the example he sets for Black
children, you understand--that it's better to be white. Looking at Michael
Jackson--is like witnessing the CASTRATION of the African man all over
again! And what about this Christian religion? I cannot worship a white
Jesus Christ--when I know damned well that his mother was a Black Jew! and
his father was a Blue Black Siti-Nok! I cannot abide with your Eurocentric
standards of respectability. And let me tell you something, Black America
diva girl, my own beloved. You call this White woman "Sister", you
call the Indian, the Asian, the Latina--all these women, you call them
"Sister"--but you try to call me "Cousin" ... when the truth is, it is my
Black ass that is the only REAL SISTER you have. Your leader, Martin Luther
King, he had a dream for you. But I have a dream, too. My dream is that you
wake the f**k up. I mean that with all due respect and love. But I mean the
sh*t. Take these blond weaves out of your head and wake the f**k up!
Otherwise, your children are going to ... PERISH. And believe me when I tell
you that the only thing that Black Americans have ever had going for them
... is that they were Black. Without that, you're just faded trash on the
American highway with the Indians and everybody else who was defeated by
White men. And if you allow yourselves to be bred off this planet, after
everything that your poor ancestors went through, then you really are
niggerstock. There is nothing wrong with loving other races of people--but
only a bonafide nigger kills off his own image. If you want proof, then just
look to North Africa.

As a child of Africa, I understand the ritual of "appearances" ... I
understand that America is a place where immigrants come from all over the world to sell their souls. I understand that my character is very frightening to many upper class Black Americans. But I want ... MYSELF and my children, our
Blackness, our souls intact ... and I will not support a Black man who does
not honor me, respect me and hold me up as the mother of his race. Which is
what I am. For he and I are ... much of the same muchness, and I ask you ...
what is he without MY love and respect? Not a Goddamned thing.

It is time for us, my Black American sisters, to give birth to a new King.
There is no honor, no respect for the Frog who fails to worship his own pond.

I implore you, my Sisters and Brothers in America--don't look back ... the
past ... it's gaining on you. Look in the mirror and "Get a clue". A Black King without Black sons is a dead man. If I am to die--then these are the things that I
wanted to say. I shall be buried in South Africa until a Black African man
becomes the ruler of Sudan. I request a night-ocean funeral with sickle
fire, I would like my Black American Adoptive mother to kiss me (3 times)
into the next world, I would like my Black American Adoptive father to seal
my eyelids with honey, I would like Saad Eddin Ibrahim, Frances Bok and
Nawal El Saadawi of Egypt to speak on my behalf, and if possible, I would
like Jill Scott to sing the Nilotic Hebrew Women's lullaby "Khu Sahu
Sekhem." On my tomb, let it be written--"A real woman never dies." I want
fresh Wysteria and baby's breath. A pot of liquid silver. Men wear white
robes, women wear red robes. I've already prepared and frozen Sudanese Spicy
Cherry Soup (an African Gumbo)--Carol Chehade will make Caramela Kola.
Alicia Banks will read Alice Walker's poem, "Be Nobody's Darling" and Prof.
Derrick Bell will read my poem, "Sleeping Beauty". Dr. John Garang will read
a speech in my honor. Then my three Kings will read my "letters of Sin" and
then burn them, so that I have written my sins down and had my husband ask
God's mercy on my behalf. My own recorded voice will recite The Lord's
Prayer and sing the Islamic lullaby "Sijil". I've also been preparing
Egyptian honey-wine for the closing toast and my funeral is to end with a
loud burst of life-affirming laughter. Everyone is to send me off properly
by running naked into the sea and screaming my birth name (Naima) to the
Sky! My Black American parents (and only them) will then escort my body to
the tomb, to be sealed. God bless you all, and as always, "tima usrah," my
beloveds.

I usually refrain from responding to outlandish theories and nonsense but.........this is way out there.First what beats me is how some sister with an EGYPTIAN father, can babble about sudanese arabs and africans. It is well documented that all the tribes in northern sudan are mixed with arab nubian or african blood and sometimes all three, also ethopian blood as in the eastern tribes.
About the great slavery myth.this actually does occur between two tribes, the baggara and the dinka, the baggara are nomads and the dinka mostly farmer-nomads.They compete fiercly for grazing lands and conduct raids ,in which they kill the men enslave and or rape the women and children, both sides have at various times been aided by goverments, rebel movements,so called aid agencies, muslim fanatics and other self serving parties.
Palestinians buying slaves?-well i have to admit they would come in handy for stone throwing, nigga throw some more!!!!-I myself am very disinterested in palestinians and their cause as they are really rascist people. The fact is this rascism is also directed towards -surprise-so called arab sudanese,as the saying goes once u go black u never go back.
what i think needs to be really addressed are issues of identity with northern sudanese, they speak arabic and practise islam ,identify with arab and african culture-look to customs in dress,food,music,etc.etc.-yet feel isolated from both arab and africans.
Any northern sudanese who has been to an arab country will tell you of experiencing rascism.
Ive read of this crazy sisters theories-admittedly not in depth-and the most of it is fantastically ridiculous, she spoke of growing up in the south, and her egyptian father being killed and her mother enslaved-u would think the man would have some influence on his fellow sand niggers, and she is vague on exactly where she grew up,before being rexscued to america.
If u visit a site called sudan.net there are some articles faeturing southern sudanese rebel leaders, who admitted that the so called sale of slaves was in fact a hoax used to get money from guilty feeling white folks-who i personally beleive would run like the wind if personally confronted by their- brothers- in a dark alley.
do the knowledge to this complex issue before jumping on the bandwagon.

this account seems highly probable.
sudan is war torn, nigeria is on the cusp of an ingulfing civil war between muslims and christians. arab raiders have been enslaving black africans for a long time, making them into slaves or worse.

its interesting that african americans deny this without researching the topic, perhaps it causes a conflict because of the need to identify with an alternative culture like islam.
her comments about the maleness of most religons are very apt.
there have been several reports about saudis buying small pakistani boys to use as camel racers, then either killing them or selling them off to pedophiles to be used as sex slaves.
i know everyone wants to rush to defend the arabs in the face of pending us military action. but the shit that goes on in saudi arabia and the base violent culture that has propogated itself there and there racist and sexist maneuvering in continental africa is something worth considering.

Read the book islam's black slaves by ronald segaL,and you will see how evil islam can be.
Arabs used to buy african women around eaastern africa and use them for sex slaves and from what I heard it still happaens quit a bit around ethiopia.
I would not doubt saudi arabians buy little boys and use them for pedofilia.
http://www.salon.com/books/int/2001/04/05/segal/index.html
read the reviwe and interview of islam's black slaves

slavery in eastern africa started around 700AD when they started trading slaves around what the arabs call zanji.
Zanji became another word for blacks thus zanjibar.
there are still scattered populations of desedants of slaves in iraq, kuwait, jordan, palestine, which many palestinbeans are actual desendants of african slaves, iran, and other places espcially saudi arabia.

Do you find yourself defending what Islam has done in Africa?

her father, Atmu Bahri, was an "arab". he said he was an arab, and his daughter says he was an arab and light skinned.

so therefore not phenotypically "african" in any way shape or form, except perhaps in terms of his soul.

That would depend if he was in upper or lower egypt. Lower egyptains are more phenotypical of coastal type berbers,so you can't say lighter skinned egyptains are not african.

sum blacka denna muhfucka too

What people probally don't know is that the real egyptainbs live in upper egypt and are caleld the fellahin. felllahin tend to look more african than the average egyptain who lives in the cities. Lighter skinned egyptains live mostly in what is lower egypt, and they have mixed over the years with other people because that area has been more populous.
Egyptains though are not getnically arabs except for maybe the ones who live in the city. When the arabs, mamelukes, turks invaded they did not mix with the peasents, which would be known as the fellahin,so the closest p I am a fellahin I live in cairo right know.
THe goverment here in egypt is controlled by islamic fanatcics and most of the rich and powerful people here are not ethnically egyptains, but lebanese, armenians, and other groups.
There is no doubt the modern day egyptains are hetrogaemous, meaning they are really mixed, except maybe for erthe fellahin.
LKet me clarify also that the ancient kemetians called the bedouins bedu and sand dwellers. THe ancient egyptains bitterly despised arabs, and I supose it has come back to haunt us. We are so arabized know you ask a average egyptain what the ancient egyptains were and they will say arabs. Case in point they protested when anwar sadat was going to be played by a african american.
I you actually go to egypt and go out tothe villages were tyhe fellahin work and farm you will see they look quite different form the city dwellers and it is not because of the sun.
Fellahin have napier hair and more africoid features.
of course the fellahin are looked down upon by lighter skinned egyptains and called asma, which is like the word nigger in egypt.

really is an arab because he is fluent in the language?

That makes no sense.

Where is this definition coming from?

Certainly not from the American English standard. Here's what Webster's has to say:

Main Entry: Ar·ab
Pronunciation: 'ar-&b, 'er-; dial also 'A-"rab
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, from Latin Arabus, Arabs, from Greek Arab-, Araps
Date: 14th century
1 a : a member of the Semitic people of the Arabian peninsula b : a member of an Arabic-speaking people
2 : ARABIAN HORSE

*****

So this must be the basis of your definition "a member of an Arabic-speaking people."

If that is the case than being an Arab DOES NOT mean someone who simply speak Arabic.

thats their definition and what definition if what they are is better than how they describe it....the foundation of the arabic language was developed with the quran (arabic was scattered and arabs had no nuified identity before that..they were described by their tribes...some dark some light...remember our queen sheba (whateva) had a dual kingdom there..why would we destract ourselves from the enemy in the 3 piece suit for some dirt poor arabs? but here you go you are about to answer your own question.

i know the whole afrikhun thing is all about hating islam bt at whos expense? we are making a shift toward giving people more power than they had...the arabs must be the smartest "master race" of them all...look at what they did...they conquered the world...they went into west africa and enslaved a primitive stone age people who's only credit seems to be that they were "spiritual"...it seems that no one could defend themselves from these arabs who within 50 years of their reign of terror...subdued entire continents...sounds interesting..they seem to shift from the portugese and spaniards and the english being the slave holders owners, exporters and for the most part (the latter 2/3rds of the history) the catchers...these mighty arabs who didnt have centralized leadership (by the time slave exports were happening) seem to be responsible for every problem in africa now...its great that no one wants you to believe this..its great that harvard, and the locations of the worlds great think tanks..arent mass producing "african scholors" with the proposed mission to debunk the "myth' of the great white slave owner...and better yet, mystify the entire process of the capture and pillage of west africa in general..we all understand the difference between slavery in america and slavery in iron and bronze age cultures...(slave from slav blah blah blah)..the idea that prisoners of war couldnt be jailed because technology for large scale building wasnt available to some cultures (africans in general, arabs, ect) other stone age cultures developed means of desposing their loosers by means of death in some ritual to not shock the human being by all the carnage (like killing your opponents in hopes that their souls would make you stronger, keeping the scalps, or trophies in general ect)...the west in moving us away from any understanding of WORLD history and culture...and not the fact that things happened but why..eg.. the hause didnt become muslim because they were slaves they were a smaller tribe seeking protection from larger tribes so they allied themselves...slavery still occurs in muslim and non muslim africa....the congo, like it was before..but i dont judge hinduism by the actions of hindus..i judge it based on their intent..the caste system may seem deplorable to the novice in history, but it served a purpose...look it up i am dead tired..slavery in egypt wasnt a means of demeaning individuals, in fact slaves in egypt were a class of individuals who held the right to strike (sometimes at the mercy of the army..lol read it for those who dont know about it its inchrestin')...become a student of human history and the big picture shows itself...muslims are here..so you will have to deal with them....the wisest thing to do is to objectively (and this goes for the muslims also) take a look at the history of all those you can...you will find the deplorable, the beautiful, and the hopeful...objectively. for all the good i learned of ghandi when i was young i learned his views of women, and non indians (his non generalizations), and i switched my view haistily..only to realize after further study, this is the human dilema...this isnt platos world of forms people..this is the real world...and people are just that..people, being ameturish is never the way to build wisdom, and in all of islams beauty and destruction, the wisdom behind it is social order...with some formula..this may not work for you, but it does for some..and didnt for others. the wiser say that the novice believes that everyone will choose his way...i hope to be under their feet someday..so in emulation of their way...i can understand that "others" exist..i just like some of you need to accept that...emulation of the rasool (saw) is not in dress only or talk of the qalb...its in inward adab reflecting itself as outward behavior. he accepted them all. i cant expect this from all the muslims, muchless everyone...i hope "we" get this someday.

No. An hispanic is someone born in a spanish-speaking country or a descendent of someone from one of these countries. A mexican born in America is hispanic regardless of their ability to speak spanish. I never said Arab denoted a race so get that shit out of your mouth when talking to me.

Similarly my roommate is a hispanic BUT HE SPEAKS FLUENT ARABIC. That DOES NOT make him an ARAB.

My mexican roommate is NOT a member of an Arabic-speaking people and thus is not an "Arab." I swear you guys can't read. "MEMBER OF AN ARABIC-SPEAKING PEOPLE" does NOT mean "SOMEONE WHO SPEAKS ARABIC." BIG difference.

Get it right.

Whoah. Stone age? Arabs were civilized and educated by the people of KMT. For a long time Egypt was the center of Arabic science and scholarship (outside of memorizing a silly fairytale book). This is no coincidence. The schools of Egypt were had long since been established during the before and more were created during Greek occupancy.

Sudan Report: Widespread Gang-Rape of Boy Slaves

July 16, 2002

Young Sudanese boys suffer many atrocities at the hands of miltant Muslim oppressors

From Freedom Now World News

Widespread Gang-Rape of Boy Slaves

By Maria Sliwa

Sudan, July 15, 2002: During a recent fact finding trip to Southern Sudan, Freedom Now World News discovered overwhelming evidence that young black, boy slaves are repeatedly gang-raped by their Arab masters. While previous reports on slavery have focused mainly on the gang-rape of female slaves, sociologist and investigative reporter, Maria Sliwa received testimony from numerous boy victims of rape.

"This type of sex is very strange to us," said recently redeemed slave Deng Deng. "Many times during rape boys would cry so loudly that the Arabs would stuff rags in their mouths so they could not be heard. I witnessed this often. If you refuse , sometimes they would shoot you." Deng Deng is a Christian who said that as a slave he was often beaten because he would not convert to Islam.

Another recently freed boy slave, Deng Ayuel testified: "I watched the Arabs rape my two sisters and I watched many slave boys being raped as well. They would often take a girl or boy and do whatever they wanted with them sexually. I too was raped many times by my master and his Arab friends."

Perhaps the most graphic account of male rape was given by the freed slave Aleek Mach Deng: "I watched my master Mohammed and four Murahaleen Arabs violently gang-rape a young Dinka slave boy. The boy was screaming and crying a lot. He was bleeding heavily, as he was raped repeatedly. I watched his stomach expand with air with each violent penetration. The boy kept screaming. I was very frightened, and knew I was likely next. Suddenly the boy's screams stopped as he went completely unconscious. My master took him to the hospital. I never saw him again."

Many of the redeemed slaves told Sliwa that in order to avoid rape, male slaves would try to escape but were hunted down like animals by their masters. The punishment for resisting rape is often severe beatings, death or limb amputation.

Sliwa noted that the knowledge of male slave rape is widespread and has come to the attention of community leaders in Southern Sudan. "Many of the freed male slaves come to the chiefs and tell us they were repeatedly raped by their Arab captors," said Nhial Chan Nhial, Paramount Chief of Akon. "This affects their minds badly. They are subject to fits of crying, mental problems and are often unable to marry later on in life." Yet, in the ongoing genocidal Sudanese civil war, most are helpless to do anything.

International law recognizes both slavery and rape in the context of armed conflict as crimes against humanity. The International Criminal Tribunal for Yugoslavia has recently convicted Serbian soldiers for committing these offenses. Freedom Now World News is calling on the U.S. Government to investigate this aspect of the Government of Sudan's declared jihad against the Black Africans of Southern Sudan and press for the establishment of an International Criminal Tribunal for Sudan.

this isn't a law discussion, but even in a law discussion, you don't have to read the entire text to be able to understand the ideas trying to be put forth.

i don't have the book in front of me, so you'll just have to take my word for it.

i'm just saying that you should be more "precise" and "exact" with the words you choose to use and the statements you choose to make.

plus. i'm imagining if you used something like "you'll have to take my word for it" in a court of law...or in ANY scholarly environment...

i mean, if it was important to you, you coulda said, "i'll get some sources at a later time." or simply waited till you got the texts to answer.

imagine if someone used that statement on these boards "take my word for it"... opps! aquaman already DOES!

it's not important to me. believe me or don't. but i'm not the type of person to lie. i'm not really trying to convince you, just pointing out things for other people to look out for when reading this type of garbage.

short of breaking down an entire book, i have. most people will recognize a site dedicated to Christian missionaries, and "martyrs" in Muslim countries as sufficient to make it a questionable source of information. the fact that the only book it contains on Islam is Behind the Veil, which according to me, is an anti-Islam book (it's also featured on other anti-Islam sites), is enough, hopefully, for most people to realize that this info. is gained from a non-credible source (this is the only thing i'm trying to achieve).

1)Islam Unveiled

A short, 56-page guide quoting the half of the Koran that endorses murder of non-Muslims. It also includes other historical details that are deliberately withheld from the American public. A comparison between Islam and Christianity concludes this guidebook. (Paperback, 56 pp.)

2)Islamic Invasion, The

This book includes many details not found in other texts with archaelogical photographs of the moon god "Allah" that was worshipped during Mohammed's time. Do not let the overuse of exclamation marks in this book detract from your study. (paperback, 231)

3)Christian Witness Among Muslims

No longer a people living across the seas, Muslims are now a significant presence in North America. Do we ignore them? Do we feel threatened? Or will we respond as Christ responded to us, with love and compassion for a lost soul? Learn more about the Islamic religion and how to effectively share Christ with Muslims. (Paperback, 128 pp.)

4)Decline of Eastern Christianity Under Islam, The

In this masterly study, Bat Ye’or provides a clear analysis of the dogma and strategies of jihad, offering a vast panorama of the transformation of Christian civilizations under Islam. She sheds light on the areas of fusion, interdependence and confrontation between Islam, Christianity and Judaism. In two waves of Islamic expansion, the Christian and Jewish populations of the Mediterranean regions and Mesopotamia, who had developed the most prestigious civilizations of the time, were conquered by jihad. Millions of Christians from Spain, Egypt, Syria, Greece and Armenia; Latins and Slavs from southern and central Europe; as well as Jews, henceforth lived under Islamic law (Shariah). They now formed what the author calls: the civilization of “dhimmitude.” In these societies, the various dynamics of Islamization developed according to the same pattern determined by the ideology and laws of jihad and Shariah. Bat Ye’or analyzes the interactions on several levels of a process that would transform native Christian majorities into “religious minorities.” She also examines the conflicts between the different churches that contributed to this result. (Paperback, 522 pp.) About the Author: Born in Egypt, Bat Ye’or is a recognized specialist on the dhimmis and “dhimrnitude.” She broke new ground with The Dhimmi: Jews and Christians under Islam. The Decline of Eastern Christianity under Islam is a translation of her second book on the subject. Its French publication five years ago established the author’s reputation as an innovative thinker in a new field of research

these book reviews give good insight into this sites agenda:

Women and Islam:
An exposé of Islamic laws concerning the attitude, treatment and theological view toward women. Jesus forgave women and honored them. Mohammed exploited them. Even though all of this cannot be applied toward women in every Muslim nation, it does apply at some point across the Muslim world.

and another:

In a desire not to offend, this book presents an incomplete picture of women in Islam and only quotes from the peaceful half of the Koran. However, its approach and detail on reaching Muslims is one of the best. It explains misconceptions which Muslims have about Christianity giving you doctrinal details for better communication.

another:

Christians with no hands can still rejoice, while the gospel of Christ is secretly spread in the lands of Mohammed, through the shops and homes, from prisons to the palaces of sheiks. The church lives, even under the crescent moon of Islam. This collection of true testimonies illustrates what has been called the greatest challenge facing the Christian world today-evangelizing the Muslim world.

Press Release--September 20, 2002 Prepared by Yi Nee Ling, Publicist.

On Sept. 15th 2002...Hisham Noor, a Diplomat of the Sudanese Government, published an article featuring and attacking Sudan's top woman writer, Kola Boof, in the Arabic daily newspaper "AlSharq Al-awsat" (which is London's largest Arab newspaper). In this article, Sudan's diplomat blasted Ms. Boof and openly painted her as...a traitor to Sudan...a "fake" who doesn't really exist, because no Sudanese woman would carry herself as trashy as Boof does..."a prostitute working to create propoganda against Arabic Islam on behalf of the United States government"...a mentally unstable habitual liar...he spoke quite heatedly on behalf of...the government and the citizens of Sudan.

This morning, from California, Kola Boof responds for public record.

Official Statement of Kola Boof:
First let me say for the record...that I am a traitor to the Arab Muslim government of Sudan...because as God knows...the practice of ethnic cleansing, socially accepted racism and colorism, and ofcourse, timeless sexism by the Arab ruling class in Sudan is like a gasoline-tainted veil that is burning away the layers of our true mother's African face. And if there is anyone who believes in God...then they know that Sudan is currently governed not by Allah, but by Satan.

Many of the world's most intelligent leaders have claimed that the holocaust that happened in Nazi Germany could not possibly happen again, but they were wrong about that. I assure you, as a witness...that there is a new holocaust of ethnic cleansing taking place in the hands of God...and it's taking place, this time, in Sudan. It's been going on for more than twenty years now. I'm a witness to that, too. And with my heart on fire with rage...I am sad to report, via very reliable sources, that just last week there were more bombings in Sudan's royal southern region, there were more fathers killed, more mothers and children abducted, raped and some mutilated with savage beatings--the kind of savage beatings that only the Arabs Muslims know how to administer, trust me. There were even little boys 10 and 12 years old sodomized by their Arab masters. For those wishing to see for themselves...here is the news report....

http://www.persecution.com/news/index.cfm?action=fullstory&newsID=167

The problem, however, is that the victims of the world's new holocaust are mainly charcoal colored Africans...and therefore, no one with any real power on this planet cares. God knows that Kola Boof doesn't have any power. But that is why I have no choice but to be a traitor to my country. As Allah is my witness, I have no choice.

It hurts me to be so hated, disowned and lied on by the Arab Muslim community of my birthplace. But I am not mentally unstable...I am not a prostitute...and I am not Islam's loyal fool. I am not America's puppet...I am...as I stated before, my own Queen. That is the example that I wish to set for little African girls. I am the one who represents the Black African mothers, daughters and wives of Sudan...I am the Black man's mother....and I do not believe that any peace agreements in Machakos will improve the real lives of Sudan's oppressed and enslaved southern tribesmen. In fact, as much as I have honored the heroic efforts of our great African lord, Dr. John Garang...I do not believe that any peace agreements will even be carried out if they are so reached. That is the way of Africa and paper agreements. You might as well use it for toilet paper!

I believe that the racist Arab Muslims of the North can never peacefully coexist as equal brothers and sisters with the authentic Black Africans of the South. And what has become of Sudan's Nubians..it's a disgrace. Mother Africa and Isis cry over it every day...that there is no one, not the Nubian, the Nuer or the Dinka who can stand up to the blatantly unchecked evils of the lightskinned North. I believe that Sudan will never know any peace or justice as long as Arab Muslims are the sole rulers and architect of the thinking man's Sudan. That is what Kola Boof believes and has to say, and yes....America is my husband now. I am a traitor to Sudan. I am my own Queen, my own unique creation. Hopefully, someday, so too shall Sudan be. tima usrah...may God save Sudan, my mother, for she is the Sun!

Kola Boof

Kola Boof is the author of "Every Little Bit Hurts" (Poems), "Long Train to the Redeeming Sin: Stories About African Women" and coming in 2003.."DIARY of a Lost Girl". Ms. Boof is also expected to star in the 2003 film..."Sins of a Living Woman". She believes she is 33 years old (exact age unknown). On August 21st of 2002...Kola Boof survived an attempt on her life when three Arab Muslim gunmen opened fire on her in Indian Hills, California. Ms. Boof, to their surprise, returned gunfire and escaped unharmed. Ms. Boof is an official supporter of the Sudanese People's Liberation Army. Her late father, Egyptian archeologist Atmu Bahri Kolbookek was a member.

All,

"As many of you may have heard, a Nigerian woman was
recently sentenced to death - for having a child out
of wedlock. Amina Lawal has been sentenced to death by
stoning - she is to be buried up to her neck in the
ground, after which her punishers will surround her
and throw rocks at her head until her skull is crushed
and she dies a painful and horrible death. I'm sure
you all feel equal shock and disgust at this sentence,
and I want you to know that she has only thirty days
to appeal her trial. Please go to the Amnesty
International site

http://www.mertonai.org/amina/

and sign the letter addressed to the President of
Nigeria. It literally takes only a minute, and could
help to save her life, as well put an end to this kind
of cruel and disgraceful judgement in a country that
calls itself a democracy. Please copy and forward this
letter to others in your address book as well. Please
help her!".

yes, i posted this in the "arab-american brothers" thread...

kola boof is incidentally half-"arabic" herself (her yellow arab-egytpian father was a "traitor", he fought along side the southern sudanese and exposed the truth about arabs being hostile to africans before his death at the hands of his own people), nonetheless she is a freedom fighter in the mold of candace who fought back alexander and his hordes or queen kahina of the indigenious berbers of north africa who resisted the arab invasion....

a truly beautiful and corageous sista.

From Kola:

A poster named African spoke about traditional fueds between the Bagghah and the Dinka and Nuer people. This legendary fued, ofcourse, has resulted in Sudan's Arab Muslim government....funding and arming these Western Sudanese with the power to round up and capture Dinka and Nuer for sale to rich Arab Muslim families in the North...slaves sell for about $14 each (in American dollars)...The United Nations has already documented and proven that Sudan's Arab Islamic government is the one funding these posses (sometimes called Murahleen--*the Murahleen killed both my parents when I was a child--I was present and heard them inform my Mahdi Pappuh that the government of Sudan had ordered him executed). The civil was in Sudan is completely based on race and religion.

Just last week, the Sudanese government continued carrying out air bombings on Black African villages in the south of Sudan. They continued bartering slaves and killing people at random...as an ethnic cleansing has been going on since the 1970's (which I was there to see with my own eyes). Slaves brought to the north are often beaten into submitting to ISLAM as opposed to their animist or Christian faith. They are taught that they are half-monkey, half-human. Frances Bok is an ex-slave living in America. You can write to him for confirmation of this at info@iabolish.com

As a small child...I went with my Madhi Pappuh to Dr. John Garang's home--this was the late 1970's. The SPLA was indeed formed at that point...the slavery and other evils of the Arabic North was already underway.

You made the claim that all Sudanese are basically....Black. And that the Northerners, because they are mixed with Nubian blood, etc. are also black people and that this makes it a black on black issue.

That is a lie. I am a Black half-Arab northerner from Omdurman. We NEVER considered ourselves related to the Charcoal Black Sudanese southerners. They are considered Africans....we were considered Arab.

In Sudan...the Arabs who look the lightest-skinned are held up as the measuring stick and national GOAL. It is much the same in America. I cannot tell you how many Nubian people straighten their hair and speak a certain way...trying to pass as "dark Arabs". It's a disgrace. The North is filled with dark brown people (who look like Kola Boof)...but they will not marry dark women for fear of continuing to look like Nuba people. Those with money travel to Turkey to marry white street hookers..they bring these women back to Sudan and set them up as "respectable ladies" and have children with them...attempting to create a lighter more Arabian-looking Arab. This is part of the great colorist racism against Sudan's southerners. They are charcoal Black pure Africans...so the Northerners (who cherish lightskin as much as they do Islam) are trying to ethnic cleanse them. The goal of Sudan's government is that Sudan will look like Egypt's upper class. Totally Arabian looking with hardly a trace of blackness.

My Arab-Egyptian father was basically the color of wheat with dark curly hair. He had been educated in France and knew, as an archeologist, that the true Egyptians were a black people descended from Somali's Punt tribes. HE WANTED BLACK SONS. So he went to Somalia and married the Blackest woman he could find, but also a woman whose blood was directly related to the original Egyptian race. This is why the woman had to be an Oromo nomad (and a Gisi-Waaq). So in this way, my father (who named himself Kolbookek to honor the original Egyptian language and not Arabic) was against his own creed. It hurt my father greatly that African men did not consider him African or "a black man".

In Sudan...we speak many forms of Arabic, English, French and assorted other Coptic and Hebrew languages. I write sometimes using Nubian and Hebrew sentences..I also use timas dialect Arabic. There are some 122-plus dialects of different languages in the Sudan.

Many northerners (who do not consider themselves black in Sudan--try to come here and claim that they are part of the oppressed majority). I wanted to confront that.

It seems Kola Boof is in touch with you or she reads these boards. There are a couple of things i would like to clarify and have clarified.
1-by all streches of the imagination, having an egyptian father and a somalian mother does not make you a sudanese, either a black african or an arab one as you so scorningly call them.
2-For all means and purposes somalians identify with the ARABS,and arabic is taught in schools,as is well documented the somalian population is 100% muslim.
3-Kola boof's father -from her version-seems to have been involved in some form of political violence and was executed. While that was a tragic event,i doubt he was killed becuase his dreams of african purity-which appear a little misguided-but becuase of political involvement.Throughout sudan's brutal poltical history MANY people were executed,by various parties goverments and movements.Dr.Garang whom Kola recalls with fond childhood memories has executed numerous of his generals, and ordered the burning ,looting and pillage of villages in Goverment control, which the goverment promptly responded to with equal brutality.
4-I have not attempted throught any of of my understanding years to deny that northern sudanese have serious identity issues,However, this in no way implies that there is a consious ethnic cleansing process. The SPLA has many northern members and Dr.Mansour Khalid, whom is arguably one of the highest ranking civilian SPLA members is a northener. The vice president of the ARAB north is a southerner.
5-One of the posters mentioned that arab is not a race,at which many ignorant people jumped to his throat. The brother spoke truthfully ,arabic is a language just like not all -hell the vast majority-of english speakers are not caucasian. As a matter of fact arabs as in the sense of nomadic desrt dwellers, your stereo-typical SHEIK are actually semitic, and are cousins to those of jewish ancestory.
6-The similarity between brainwashed northeners and brain washed african americans is exactly on point, why then, are one simply critised and the other made out to be satans soldiers on earth?
7-People should take stories like Kolas with a grain of salt, while she may have genuine greivances her story is a little fantastic,God damn it,NEITHER OF HER PARENTS ARE SUDANESE!!!!!!!How can she claim the title of minority or anything else?
8-i am not an injured minority or majority,im just telling it like it is,i feel pissed off that someone would claim african queen then use colonial tactics of divide and conquer,to air greivances,if there actually any.
9-A REQUEST TO ALL ON THESE BOARDS DO YOUR OWN RESEASRCH ABOUT ISSUES BEFORE COMING TO CONCLUSIONS ABOUT COMPLEX ISSUES.

Subject: Press Release: S. Sudan: Five Dead, Ten Injured in Fresh Aerial Assaults

CSI Press Release

Southern Sudan:
Five Dead, Ten Injured in Fresh Aerial Assaults

On September 20-21, the Islamist Government of Sudan (GOS) killed at least five Black, non-Muslims and wounded ten others during aerial assaults on villages in Twic County, Southern Sudan, according to the Civil Commissioner of Twic County James Achii. On Saturday, high altitude Antonov aircraft bombed villages including Moun, Wunrok and Panlit, while on Friday a helicopter gunship fired at civilians along the banks of the Bahr El Arab River. Among the dead are two children (aged 3 and 13) and three women. Five of the most seriously wounded have been evacuated by the International Committee of the Red Cross for emergency treatment. Personnel of the Irish medical aid organization Goal were also evacuated to Kenya.

The murder of civilians in Twic County comes less than three weeks after Sudan's President, Gen. Omer Hassan al-Bashir pulled out of peace negotiations with the SPLA in Machakos, Kenya, and declared at a mass mobilization rally that his government would press ahead with "jihad" until peace is achieved. (Reuters, Khartoum, September 5, 2002.) Twic County is adjacent to the western Upper Nile oil fields where the armed forces of the Sudanese government displaced, killed and enslaved over 100,000 civilians during a series of military offensives in July and August. Many of the survivors sought refuge in Twic County.

On Saturday, Sudanese Foreign Minister Mustafa Othman Ismael claimed that since his government signed the Machakos agreement on July 20, the Sudanese forces have not fired "one single bullet." (Arabic News.com, September 21.) This week, Ismael is due to meet with the US Secretary of State Colin Powell in New York. The last personal encounter between an American Secretary of State and a Sudanese Foreign Minister took place 14 years ago.

Today, two political commentators, the conservative Curtis Sliwa of MSNBC and the liberal radio and television broadcaster Joe Madison, condemned these latest aerial attacks against Black civilians in Twic County. Madison declared: "The atrocities committed against civilians in Southern Sudan are equivalent to those committed in the Middle East. We can no longer allow the victims to suffer alone." Sliwa urged the UN "to put pressure on Bashir the same way they are starting to put pressure on Saddam Hussein in Iraq." Neither the U.S. State Department nor the White House have issued statements condemning these latest aerial attacks against civilians in Twic County.

Following talks on the 11th of July with the Sudanese Foreign Minister, UN Secretary General Kofi Annan predicted a peace agreement between the Government of Sudan and the SPLA within ten days. (UN Wire, July 12, 2002.)

a response to what you stated in your cyber-yelling post. You don't have to be THAT computer-saavy to de-press CAPS LOCK. Reading messages in all caps is hard on the eyes. People usually just employ that measure when "yelling". That is why I asked you why you were cyber-yelling. I obviously am a supporter of Kola Boof, and her writing, so clearly, what you had to say/write, I disagree with. There. I responded. Happy now?

in our political discourse. even if one discounts the racial/ethnic/religious angle, the situation would be tragic. i find it hard to believe that there is no truth to all of the horrendous stories that have been coming out of Sudan for years.

Sudan is a blind spot, in particular, for african americans/blacks/negroes whatevah, that identify with Islam. and the sad part is that it need not be. just as christians need to condemn the excesses and horrors that have been committed in the name of *their* religion, so too, do muslims and jews need to address the sins of their own misled (or just plain evil) brothers in the faith. gender-specific language is intentional, here, as its men, by-and-large, who are responsible for most of this shit.

if you are for freedom, justice and equality, you have to be for that everywhere, and use the same yardstick.

if half of the stuff which has been reported from Sudan is true, than it's way worse than afghanistan. point is, though, there's no oil in Sudan, so even though the Sudanese government probably exemplifies all of the characteristics that our hypocritical-ass government would have you think that they oppose, there has been no discussion of it and certainly no visible attempts to help those who are suffering. and by the way, it must make christians feel good to go there and fight and struggle against the muslim influence, and counteract those atrocities... as if these actions (however necessary), could atone for christendom's raping of mother africa and her children, and the post-colonial nightmare they've left for the rest of the continent.

i will read up more on this situation and attempt to find some objective sources (amnesty international, un human rights commission. -- i know that's no guarantee of objectivity, but i would expect them to have less of an agenda than an overtly christian or islamic information source).

beyond that, this issue seems provocative due to the fact that you have the whole arab v. african thing, slavery, etc. however, there are also atrocities going on in a number of other places on the continent, like sierra leone and liberia, where there's less ideological or racial distinction between the combatants, but no less strife and calamity.

thanks Kemetian, for posting this, and to yaShetgo for the additional info. i will pray for this sister and all of Sudan.

it'snotjust in the sudan it is in my home country of egypt also

Northern egyptains which are mostly city dwellers think upper egyptains who have the cloest phenoptype to the ancient kemetians are not really arabs. They don;t accept the fellahin because of their apperance and the fact they look african.
Most westners are ignorant of these people, andI am a fellahin living in cairo. Cairo is full of arabs, lebanese, and other foreigners.
Except for his curly black hair, with its hint of African negro
blood, he looked more Arabian than Egyptian; most of the
men in the village were shorter, more heavily built, and had strong
cheekbones, thick noses, and heavy jaws. Among their rugged faces,
Shahhat's stood out as singularly expressive."
The reader might conclude from such a description that Critchfield's
initial attraction to Shahhat was due to the fact that his features
were much less African than those of the majority of Upper Egyptians.
Ironically, that is the attitude of some inhabitants of northern
Egypt, who refuse to acknowledge Upper Egyptians as Arabs, and
consider darker skin to be a negative trait. Such prejudice is the
second challenge which faces Upper Egyptians, in addition to poverty:
racism.
Although I did take issue with the presumably inadvertent racial
implications of Critchfield's observations, Shahhat, an Egyptian is
an entertaining and vivid introduction to the richness and diversity
of rural Egyptian life.

Shahhat, an Egyptian

While the grandeur of their ancient civilization is a matter of pride for modern Egyptians, in a sense this heritage has overshadowed the vitality and richness of the Egypt of today. Among contemporary Egyptians who certainly deserve greater attention are the fellahin of Upper Egypt, direct descendants of the empire builders of ancient Thebes. Richard Critchfield's Shahhat, an Egyptian presents the true story of a year in the life of a 19-year-old Upper Egyptian. What emerges is a fascinating portrait of the fellahin experience which far surpasses more traditional sociological studies in its emotional intensity.
From the outset, Critchfield presents the central figure, Shahhat, as realistically as possible, detailing his upbringing in Berat, a village of just 7,000 persons alongside Egypt's famed Valley of the Kings. Ommohamed, Shahhat's proud and strongwilled mother, faces a constant struggle to raise and feed her family. Despite the deaths of a number of her children at an early age, she maintains hope in the future, particularly for her eldest son Shahhat.
After providing a brief explanation of Shahhat's background, Critchfield essentially allows the story to unfold on its own. Rather than analyzing the values and practices of the fellahin lifestyle, as many anthropological works would attempt to do, Critchfield for the most part presents the central figures and events of Shahhat's life in a straightforward narrative form.
A strapping young man on the verge of adulthood, Shahhat faces a host of conflicting influences and desires. His mother urges him to pursue an honest life and work the small parcel of land owned by his family. Shahhat's father, Abd al Baset, however, provides a quite different example to follow. As one of the village's most notorious revelers, Abd al Baset squanders the family's meager resources on drinking and gambling. Although Shahhat often criticizes his father's carrying on, he spends his own evenings at Abdullahi's, a local gathering place for cardplaying and drinking.
Other formative influences in Shahhat's life include his uncle Ahmad, a pious and authoritative man who protects Shahhat from trouble, yet often reproaches the young man for his reckless behavior. Shahhat is drawn to a number of young women, including Suniya, the daughter of an outcast clan looked down upon by most of the village. Both Ommohamed and Abd al Baset forbid Shahhat from seeing the girl, as such a marriage would bring dishonor on the family. Throughout the book, Shahhat faces similar conflicts with his family over the social repercussions of his behavior.
The book's wide range of fascinating characters illustrate the changing nature of rural society in Upper Egypt. Diminishing harvests and government inefficiency add to the hardships already facing Shahhat and the residents of Berat. The Aswan Dam provides valuable agricultural and industrial benefits to the whole nation, but has profoundly changed the Upper Egyptian way of life. Annual harvests, which for centuries were planned according to the flow of the Nile, have been supplanted by year-round rotation of new cash crops. Many Upper Egyptians remain suspicious of the new technology and the bureaucratic excesses of the central government.
Shahhat's story illustrates both the joys and hardships which exist in fellahin society. Midway through the year chronicled, Shahhat's family, rarely enjoying a surplus of food or money, throws an exquisite weeklong hafla (celebration), which captivates the residents of Berat as well as the reader. Even Ommohamed, who has faced many bitter humiliations at the hands of her son, remains caring and good-humored in regard to Shahhat's future. Although generally on the brink of utter destitution, members of Shahhat's family retain their dignity and stubborn desire to work their own land.
Although obviously sympathetic to Shahhat and the fellahin way of life, Critchfield injects negative racial overtones into certain points of the narrative. Early on in the book, Critchfield points out that Shahhat's non-African appearance sets him apart from the other men of the village:
"Except for his curly black hair, with its hint of African negro blood, he looked more Arabian than Egyptian; most of the men in the village were shorter, more heavily built, and had strong cheekbones, thick noses, and heavy jaws. Among their rugged faces, Shahhat's stood out as singularly expressive."
The reader might conclude from such a description that Critchfield's initial attraction to Shahhat was due to the fact that his features were much less African than those of the majority of Upper Egyptians. Ironically, that is the attitude of some inhabitants of northern Egypt, who refuse to acknowledge Upper Egyptians as Arabs, and consider darker skin to be a negative trait. Such prejudice is the second challenge which faces Upper Egyptians, in addition to poverty: racism.
Although I did take issue with the presumably inadvertent racial implications of Critchfield's observations, Shahhat, an Egyptian is an entertaining and vivid introduction to the richness and diversity of rural Egyptian life.

Well ya Fellah i am a fellah too, my father is a fellah and my mother from el seaeed(the south or upper egypt). I've lived a while in Cairo and must admit that i know nothing of the problem you're mentioning about the suffering of the fellahin.

Sure, maybe some smartass western-wannabe-richkids get a laugh off a fellah because of his clothing. I still wouldn't label it as a problem. It happens everywhere. I live in the ultra civilised continent they call Europe where this is a very normal thing. And i'm sure that the situation is the same in america between northerners and folks from the south.

I've just been reading alot of garbage posts in this topic and some good ones too. I've written some reports on africa (DR Congo, Somalia & Rwanda), there are many heartbreaking stories of human cruelty to be read, but it is evident to me that the stories of this fake sudanese "queen" are written for propaganda (CHECK THE WEBSITES for god sake and tell me that this is not propaganda). To avoid getting played do like some clever poster said earlier and read a UN or Amnesty report or something that to some extent is objective.

It is plain ignorance to define Islam/Arabs through some story you read. You want to know about Islam read the Koran or talk to an Imam. & you want to know about arabs go see and talk to them go to egypt or Iraq or wherever.

I don't define Christianity through the actions of Hitler or the Congolese, I don't define Judaism through the actions of Sharon and i don't define americans through the massacres on the Vietnamese women and children.

God damn it FREE YOUR MIND or simply USE IT!

Press Anouncement by Solomon Amadou

Sept. 26, 2002

Dear Friends,

Sudan's Arab Muslim government has declared fatwa on Kola Boof today following a very vicious article written by a Sudanese government official (diplomat Gamal Ibrahim) in London's largest Arabic daily newspaper.

fatwa basically means that the government will handsomely reward the person or group that KILLS Kola Boof for the crime of "blasphemy" against Islam.

There is something small but effective that you can do to stop her assassination, however. You can write a letter or an email (both addresses below) directly to Boof's killers--the National Islamic Front c/o Peter Gordon in London, UK.

As these letters or emails pour in by the dozens, Sudan's NIF will realize that killing Kola Boof will only give the Arab Muslim government of Sudan more negative publicity. This is important to them...because they have spent many decades cultivating a relationship with African Americans and have managed to convince many Black Americans that Arab Islamic governments (such as Sudan, Libya and Egypt) adore Black people and consider the Black man as their "Brother". Any African from either of those countries would tell you otherwise. There is chronic slavery in Sudan and continuing "ethnic cleansing" (2 million Nile River Southerners have been eliminated so far). You must understand that many dark brown people in Sudan (the color of Kola Boof) do not consider themselves African, they claim to be "Arab" (many Nubians straighten their hair and convert to Islam just to stay alive!). When we say "African", we mean those Sudanese who call themselves Africans, the Blue Blacks of the Southern Nile.

We remind you that Kola Boof was adopted and raised by an African-American couple in Washington, D.C. and that they are praying for your support. Many AA's who know Kola Boof--regard her as one of their own.

Please take time out to write a short note expressing your displeasure...your protest...against the assassination of Kola Boof by writing either a letter or email to:

NIF (National Islamic Front) c/o Peter Gordon

or send an email (which is quicker!) to:

Thank you sincerely, Solomon Amadou
