Activism means that you are aware of your environment and you try to take an active role in trying to change problems around in your community. The biggest form of activism is a personal revolution, raising your family, doing unto others as you would have them do to you, being polite to people... that's the first step of activism: Change yourself, and be about what you say you are about. Then the extra step is to go out into the community and organizing, and doing things, and saying things, and speaking up, and not just letting shit go down. You'll organize and do something about it. I read that ish this AM and got all inspired. 'secially when he talkes of raising a family -- a friend of mine once said that one of the most revolutionary things you can do is raise a family! I couldn't agree more. We gotta raise the next generation with an understanding of our connectedness -- to each other and to the Earth (mama).

I take time and pride in tryin to be a young mother raising my son. It aint easy at all and i wish i could do more.But when people tell me how smart or well behaved or pleasant he is it makes me feel good. he is a good kid and trust me in the 2G these kids is off the track. and you and ya family is most important. Ill be supporting the MFM because Family is not as it should be and the homes are broken and infested. Talib hit home with me this AM too thats why i posted! made me think!
