basically screws the rest of the players on the squad, especially the WRs.

but that's the way it has always been in indy, tho. jim sorgi and curtis painter type cats.

now, what they coulda done was draft some AJ feely type cats and then spring them upon the rest of the league in return for higher draft picks. that's andy's side hustle. (and ironic that at the end of the rams game they got to face, who? AJ, who gave the d like 3 more sacks).

indy never went that route and they'll pay for it now.

i wonder if david garrard will seriously get any calls this year? anybody bad enough to want him as a starting qb is prolly bad enough to plausibly deny tanking the season to get luck, right?

21. "How much do you hang on the coaches for that?"
In response to Reply # 19

Because obviously, Peyton Manning is a one-in-a-million type of player in terms of his preparation, ability, and influence on the offense. You're not going to get like-for-like in a draft the way you would for almost any other quarterback (including Brady and Rodgers).

So isn't it on the QB coach, then, in between taking whatever ideas Peyton is bouncing off of him, to rope in the backup and make sure they're prepared for the worst-case scenario? I mean, going off of college performance, Tom Brady and Matt Cassel had fewer starts than Painter. Yet both were much more ready to take over for the Pats than Painter has shown in his limited reps with the Colts. I've got to believe that's as much down to coaching and system as it is the difference between the quarterbacks mentioned and the guy they('re) backed(ing) up.

It appeared as if dude had a cocaine flashback in a synapse or two the way dude just ratcheted up the intensity of his demeanor. Does he normally act like this on the show? None of the other corespondents even batted an eyelash at the nutty behavior.

Perhaps the other commentators are calm because of how big Sapp is and can just sumo tackle Irvin if he get too feverish.

I'm hoping Irvin is probably coached to act all hyper and is just playing a role for the show.

C'mon fam. Being 'natural' and not a total drone is one thing. Irvin's behavior towards the end of that segment isn't normal, at least not to me. If you like it, cool. We'll have to agree to disagree. That's a bit much to me though. And interestingly enough, the times I've seen Steve Young on ESPN, he's been marble-mouth and fumbled his words. Not to the extent of Emmitt Smith, but it can be a somewhat of a chore to listen to him get this points across.

Man, words can't describe how hilarious this is. This almost made me cry from laughter.

You're such pests...now, what is it you want? In your depths of your ignorance, what is it you want? Well, whatever it is you want, I can't deliver because I just don't see it. - Orson Welles

Anthony Bourdain's been on about how we're losing our ability to cook and all the foods from the old country as we become anesthetized through processed food. Basic isht like how to pick out vegetables let alone stock recipes that have been the people's diet for centuries. Hell, he even had his chef buddies on the show in '10 to show folks how to roast a chicken and make a french fry. No Boho but I could see Mike being a fan of No Reservations.

I was about to argue that the knowledge has already been lost on the west coast, but that's only with them fine ass, in the club popping bub type of chicks. The ones that everyone is sweating, taking out to eat at fancy restaurants.

About 99% of the young girls I know that can cook, are all big girls.

All them fine broads? They just know how to spend your loot.

I think that's what got Mike riled up. Tired of these groupie chicks that don't know how to cook but want beignets and shit, thinking they being fancy.

Spending all the money he made having to "run slants".

Yet another reason, besides being easy targets, to love big girls.

for being as good as he is on NFL Network. He be talking some real shit on there, I'd say he's probably the best guy on there along with Sapp. Deion on the other hand is absolutely TERRIBLE.

I gotta figure out a way to incorporate this into the workplace.

Hated his pushoffs when he was playing for the 'Boys.

Now that I hear him speak and break down certain things about the game/lifestyle? He knows a lot of shit.

Sapp on the other hand? Can't stand him. Seems to toe that company line a bit too much and doesn't really drop gems. And he tries to present himself as some sort of model player when he was one of the biggest front runners in the game.

Deion is cool with me though. He gives that knowledge like Mike does.
