Man, I knew you'd come back and that your departure last year was just a case of temporary insanity. You know I've been pushing you to come back and talk Cowboys football with us once again!
>On March 5th 2009, right here in Okay Sports I denounced the >Dallas Cowboys. I talked about Jerry something fierce. I was >indignant due to the unwarranted, unjustified and quite >possibly 'cism-laced cutting of one Terrell Owens. I'm pretty >sure you cats remember when I dropped this:
Lets clear the past up, though. As rob mentions in another post, the team gambled on cutting TO and actually won with the current WR situation we have now. So, I can forgive the move in retrospect. Anyway, I wish the man well in Cincy.

He was so mad that I was >pulling for Philly, and we got into an argument that was so >heated that both our wives, as well as everyone else present >had to get us to calm down. That brother got like 6 inches >from my face and yelled: "You dumb, ho-emotioned, ni**a, how >you gon root AGAINST Dallas for cutting T.O., but you PULLING >FOR Donavon and the Eagles who CUT THAT NI**A BEFORE DALLAS >DID!!! Do you hear how STUPID you sound, ni**a? That's why >you rooting for HOnavan, 'cause you got ho emotions just like >that fool! I didn't want Dallas to cut T.O. either, but you >over here CAUGHT FEELINGS about it! Ni**a PLEASE! GIVE ME >THAT PLATE! Don't you eat nothing else at my house while you >talking that dumb 'I ain't pulling for Dallas cause I got >T.O.'s back' stuff..."
LOL!! Honestly, bigpo told it to you straight. McNabb was the orignal traitor to TO and its pretty bad that you felt that cheering for the Eagles was the proper outlet of protest against what Jerry Jones did to TO. That's like romanticizing Reagan because you don't like Bush. In any case, I think J.J. has a better grip over the team than a lot of fans give him credit for. He wants the team to win a championship as much as anyone else, and I believe this despite his wealthy right-wing oil tycoon persona.
>Anyway, I digress...here's the reason for this post: I can't >even front...I miss watching and pulling for the Cowboys. >Football season and the Cowboys have been part of my life >since I was 5 years old. I miss watching the games with my >comrades, and I missed rapping with y'all about the games >afterwards. I missed posting MALACHI's GAME OBSERVATIONS in >the Cowboy game posts. Heck, I even missed catching the hate >from all the bammas on here who are jealous as all get out of >Dallas' success but will never admit it.
Yo! I missed those clear and thoughtfully written observations last year. So, you can only come back under the condition that these blog-like posts make a return.
>So here it is...can a brother like MALACHI get embraced again >by the Dallas Cowboy faithful here on okayplayer? >Dstl1...rob...Pinko Panther...organ...LegacyNS...bigpo...and >anyone I missed, can a brother come back home? I feel like >the prodigal son out here.
Comrade, bigpo seems like he might take some work in welcoming you back but I fully approve of you coming to your senses.
>Oh, a couple of more things: >1. I hope y'all realize that this ain't jumping on no >bandwagon, because after what I saw Sunday night, wishing for >an 8-8 season is HIGHLY optomistic.
A)Its not bandwagon jumping, I just understand that you lost your mind for an entire season.
B)I still think we got 10+ wins in us. Colombo and Kosier are practicing with the team again, meaning Holland and Barron won't be seeing much more action for the rest of the year (barring another injury). Romo, last game, looked as good as any starting QB in the league with the limited amount of time he had in the pocket (you know, less mobile top 5 QBs wouldn't survive with that o-line). Our receivers are looking great! Plus, with a healthy starting o-line, Witten will be freed up to run more intermediate routes rather than being held back to help the line block. Running backs will be just fine behind a healthy o-line as well. The defense speaks for itself -one of the best in the league!
>2. This is specifically for bigpo...my dropping the Cowboys >was a stance based on PRINCIPLE. Me COMING BACK is the >emotional move...
I ain't buyin it lol ******************************************** "If you think you're too small to make a difference, try sleeping in a closed room with a mosquito."
