I think success on this tournament is based on geeting your creators to make life easier for everyone else. The talent level is so high across the board that very few players will have the op to burn others on their own. Based on that, the logic seems to be that the ball needs to go to Zidane so he can create chances for everyone else.Henry included......is he doing that?questionable,but when he gets into that mindset and rythm...it's over.

but is it just me or could ronaldo be even more effectively as a central striker, a la henry? i mean...he's tall and can really get up...he could work on his heading, but he gets his head to a lot of crosses, and he attacks it..if he just hit the weights, he'd be crazy...he's a great dribbler, but his crosses arent the best...i think this may be the way to go with him in the next year or two..i could see him partnering van nistelrooy or saha to offer a switch up top for man u. anyway...just an observation.

Both need a little maturing in my estimation, but in the end they're different types of players and will serve different roles... but both can go on to greatness. With that, I must point out that you almost NEVER hear of an English superstar being requested overseas (at least I don't), but a Portugese player would be more used as a journeyman. For example, I could never see Rooney at, say, AC Milan, but I could easily see Ronaldo over in Italy or Spain or something.

You know, should Man Yoo let him loose.

Oh, yes. We've seen a few good crosses from France (of course, Silvestre is playing center-back). That's new. Now if Henry could stop pissing them away, we'd be fine.
