There's not even a Europeon who's the #1 offensive option on his team yet.
And there has never been one who's been a defensive specialist.

What about Dirk Nowitzki? I know they have Finley, but Nowitzki (sp?) is often the leading point-getter on the team. He can shoot and go strong to the glass. I'm not aware of his defensive abilities. Anyone know if he's any good on D?
Anyways, I'm not saying he's an MVP candidate right now, but he's young and seems to have a lot of talent.
Another good European is Stojakovic in Sacramento. When Webber doesn't play, he is the man. He can shoot the lights out!!
Anyways, I think it'll be a long time before we see a European MVP.
He's 35. If he would've played in the league throughout his twenties, he would've been good enough around 30 to do it if he was the number one guy on his team. But don't be shocked if he ends up reuniting with Phil to be the Lakers sixth man before his career is over.

if c-webb finally does bounce from sac-town, peja will get even more shine. he's already averaging 20 ppg, 6 rebounds, 2 assists. he'll take some of webber's rebounds and probably take more shots. he has a chance.

Well Predrag Stojakovic has a very good chance i he stays humble and if he sticks to Vlade cuz Vlade old ass is like the O.G. for him,hehe....
Another factor is money...a lotta young mofos get os much loot and then they get lazy and donīt really play...best example is Larry Johnson..dat mofo came straight from UNLV and after his first big contract,he wasnīt doing shit....
Nowitzki? I donīt know and i doubt it...
Still, the illest euro or better yet , Yugo to come to the NBA and who had the biggest chance to be a MVP was DRAZEN PETROVIC(R.I.P)? Who of you remembers this cat? he played for the Nets and was by far the ilest Balkanian we ever had....

Larry was ballin till he hurt his BACK..that man plays as hard as he can with what he has..although time and injuries have taken his hops..they haven't fucked with his heart..Use another example please..
He was a beast back when the Nets wore those ty-dye blue uniforms. That's also back when Derrick Coleman was ballin'. They had a 1-2-3 of Drazen, DC, and Kendall Gill. His death set them back much like Reggie Lewis' and Len Bias' set back Boston.
I mentioned Drazen in my How Good Could They Have Been post!!!

Peja has a chance at it...dood has great ability, and idiots keep thinking that if they rough him up, he will back down...tisktisk, while they try to hip-bump his ass 15 feet outside, he steps around and blows by for the lay-up...seen it happen a million times this season, most recently to Wallace.
