ken griffey is still playing and so is malone so they still have chances to win a title. and there's been a lot better baseball players then griffey not to win a title.

thurman thomas had four chances to win a superbowl and he choked along with the rest of the bills. so he's obviously not that great

John Stockton & Karl Malone - I hope they never get a ring.
Bruce Smith - Still has a slim chance. maybe.
Patrick Ewing - give it up Pat!
George 'ICEMAN' Gervin - Allstar 12 out of 14 seasons, 9 times consecutive, back in the 70's.

It's a damn shame that this man has never won. I think he's been to the World Series once. He's stayed loyal to his team throughout his career, which is something that doesn't happen very much nowadays. He deserves a championship.

Also, I'm pretty sure Cal Ripken Jr. has never won a championship, and he deserves one just as much as Gwynn for the same reasons, and also for being THE Iron Man of sports.

Peace

Twice. '84 (damn you, Steve Garvey; damn you to hell) and '98.

Wrong. 1983. O's beat the Phillies in five. Cal's third season in the bigs.

Yeah, I kind of figured Gwynn had been there earlier too.

I wasn't sure about Ripken, though. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

I don't care for his attitude, I despise the Jazz, but Malone is a solid and still consistent player. That's real.

I'm going all the way back. Ted Williams is the greatest athlete to never win a title and it's not even close! Otheres would be Barry Sanders, Dan Marino,Barry Bonds, maybe Ewing. But Ted Williams was probably the greatest hitter ever but he was on the miserable Boston Red Sox who haven't won a World Series since 1918, The curse of the Bambino! In case you couldnt tell from my name (SevenOneEighter/Bronx) I'm a huge Yankee fan. Boston Sucks!

is the better all around player. Williams may have been the best hitter, but Bonds is one of the best all around players of all time.

Last year was supposed to be the year for Bonds, and it was a great year, but I'll give all that up if this is the year for Bonds, provided the Giants keep him the whole year, and the rest of the Giants, like Kent, Snow, Eric Davis, Shawon Dunston, etc.

Tony Gwynn - this guy can't do more to deserve it. Consistently good, consistently low maintennance, always trying to improve and not complaining when they trade the team's top talent away at the end of every season.

Dan Marino - This was a heartbreaker. This cat just deserved it. So much more than Elway. In fact when Elway got his, I was pissed b/c it wasn't Marino. Fuck Elway (for the record)

Karl Malone - Don't have to like him, to respect him.

Unless we're talkin' pro OR college titles, because Boz won a national title w/ the '85 Sooners.....I'm bullshittin'. Being the Cub fan that I am, I'll go w/ a five way tie between Ernie Banks, Billy Williams, Ron Santo, Fergie Jenkins, and Ryne Sandberg.
