Back when al gore was protesting against hip-hop (or explicit music) somebody sent a copy of BOBS to his campaign office or somethin'... and al gore's since been a fan.
I skipped alot of details in the story but that's a basic synopsis. I'm not saying it's true either.

Yeah I remember that!
It was like, MTv Rock the Vote, and Al Gore was all anti-Hip Hop because of the lyrics and the violence and a bunch of other general bullshit.
Some dude in the crowd gave him BOBS and Gore was like "I will try to listen to it".
The way I remember it though is the dude said Gore took the CD and gave it to a staff member, said he would listen to it and get back to him, and then he never got back to him.
Anyways, Al Gore is a Giant Douche, but at least he isnt a Turd Sandwhich.

Mos Def and Gore share the same views but from a completely different side of the spectrum. I admire Mos for being more aware than what the stereotypical MC is seen as being (I.E. The dude worries about the environment rather than if New York or South Side rap is better). I wonder how his new album is going to be, I lived Black on Both Sides and The New Danger.
