his new songs are great. and hes in control of his situation got a label poppin its a celebration! any hate on this man in late 2006/2007 and you'll be getting hated on.
this post was brought to you by underage drinking.
his voice has always been the same he just changed his flow and sometimes i wish he'd go back cause that flow was killer but i understand that was 8 years ago and an MC gotta grow and evolve

uhm .. dont be so naiive
his voice is perm damaged. who in their right mind would want to sound like that live?
also , his voice still sounds different on studio tracks. its not as smooth. i think theres def a problem. listen to the new reflection more or less or whatev. u can still hear it.
because he gave us reflection though, ill always listen to whatever he puts out.
i dont know how hes gonna keep touring solo with his voice always jacked.

I don't know if his voice is physically jacked, I think he just needs to learn more about pitches & maybe get some help from voice lessons for his live show. His technique live being what's jacked would be my guess, it could damage his voice after time from doing this though

Actually i think he kind of does it on purpose. i have some live tracks of kwe and i think it does get hoarse but he kind of yells the lyrics. I didnt think it even sounded bad honestly and my friends who arent very fond of talib said they liked it a lot more because they would complain about his voice being to high on studeo tracks.

Yeah sometimes it sounds like he does a few lines in his "normal voice" then goes back to the screaming. I mean I'm not hating, I love Kweli, just curious. Gotta wonder if it's intentional, and if so why? I mean not complaining, I still love his live show and can't wait to see him again, but it was quite shocking at first.

dude probably is just getting excited on the mic, no homo, but anyone who spits knows you can get into your own rhymes and just get loud with it. Especially with some big crowds, I see where he's coming from.
