So I was talking to my homie HighVoltage the other day and we got on the subject on unreleased songs by The Roots. Being that I'm a pretty big fan of The Neptunes, I remembered that they did a song with The Roots called "The Pro's". "The Pro's" is available, but only on iTunes if you buy BOTH "HomeGrown!" albums together. Well, guess what? I bought both "HomeGrown!" albums for ?uesto's liner notes and the physical CD's. I still kinda (OK, really) want "The Pro's", but I'll be damned if I can't just shell out .99 for the song and I have to pay $20. So I devised a plan...
First 19 people who are willing to donate a dollar to the cause will get "The Pro's"...we'll buy the album, help out The Roots SoundScan AND get the song which is at the moment, my unreleased-Roots holy grail. How will I share it with the contributors? Easy, burn it on CD and transfer it back onto my CPU as a regular MP3 file, sans AAC protection.
So what do you say? Who's with me? All I need is 19 people donating ONE dollar each, and we'll ALL get "The Pro's"...
