it's been held up due to the fact that he keeps recording new shit, nothing to do with the label. the whole album is extremely dope.. got a few really good singles on there too. the finishing touches are being put on right now... shits coming soon.

1) the shock of hearing PEDDI CRACK on a roots track. 2) he has my second favorite stanza on the album "it started in the bathroom taking a dump list'nin to ultra magnetic ego trip if you want" (behind malik's hard to escape "bring your neck out....bring the tech out...absorb it") 3) it's like tariq is so fucking masterful that it would take a tsunami to occur for you to notice anything else besides the fact that he is already THE most consistent straight A student in hip hop.
but don't put it like tariq's shit on this album is on par with The Jungle Brothers J Beez With The Remedy.

IMO Thought Killed that shit but Boots Riley one upped him.. Thought didn't really get shitted on though. Honestly thought rarely dissapoints with his verses.. but its always nice to see a lil friendly competetion to get him to really step his game up!

Sorry, hate to break it to you, but Boots' verse on Mutiny is untouchable. Thought and Kwe laid killer verses down, but Boots took that song to another level.

first because I've tried to have discussions in the lesson about JBeez wit ... and that shit was lead. It remains my favorite hip-hop album (if you can call it that) to date. Shit's like if Zappa did hip-hop
That being said, I never paid much attention to the lyrics/flow cuz the sonics were so dope. I gotta peep it again today.
Anyway, are you saying that the vocals on this album trumps anything Thought does on GT? And if 'Riq's been getting better with age (dunno if he really has, but I'm close to suspecting so, if not for WEB alone), anything he's ever done?
