probably hard to believe, but some people actually post without trying to promote themself constantly. so the "attention" they're looking for is not focused on their ego.

or at least they try harder to disguise their true motives, so I guess you're just honest ... however when someone points out your "honesty" you get mad.

the thing is : instead of reaching your goals (people checking you out), people get tired of the constant self-promotion and don't even want to hear what you're doing. compare it to someone constantly calling you at home or stopping you in the street and telling you how dope they are and how noone is seeing them ... all that without backing it up.

after a while it gets old and people just say : there's that idiot again, and they won't even listen, even though it might be dope.

it's all about social skills, knowing how to communicate and dose things. and to be honest you're not very good at those things.
