that was so good. i really liked that much more than the game, it looked like it had a lot more substance. i like the people better in any case. I just got even more excited for this album!

that video was ill. from the lyrics to the cinematography. that was the best video i've seen so far this year. This is dude is LOVIN life right now. I've never seen ANYBODY that happy in a video. He's comfortable right now. and his stomach is still rumblin. Common is that nigga. never seen a rapper that happy.

definitely my favorite video of the year so far!
i hadn't listened to any newly circulating Common material because i didn't want to spoil myself before the first video and/or album... so watching this video was also the first time i heard the song itself, and WOW this sure made my day

cool video. this is sorta like the "be" video. biggin' up folk. that's whats up. funny wasn't feelin this song a while back but now its more favor now that there is a visual with it. but, i know that Com knows how to put an album together. i just hope/(think) it will bang. "black maybe", "the people" and another cut are kinda softer edge type songs plus the jawn from J-Dilla's "The Shining" will be on the album so i've had some doubts, but i'm sure dude will pull through. and even if he drops a stinker and the masses support its still a win.
as long as Com is winning that's all that matters. so hopefully he and 'Ye will reach back and share that or rub some of their knowledge of how to be accessible with De La, Q-Tip/Tribe, Kweli, Pharoahe, Ghostface, Redman, Mos, Nas, Little Brother, and KRS One. (fingers crossed)

All relaxed, and Common looking so happy being among the people. It was really great to see a video with the rapper grounded within the community instead of beatin' down the block, sittin' on chrome (which isn't too bad, there's just too much) or dealing.

This video is hot. Nobody is hitting the mic harder than Common right now. Between him and Kanye the rap game is returning to it's roots and revitalizing the game to it's original glory. The party time is fun but now it's back to real hip hoptr
