"Dave Chappelle came out and played keys with the Roots last night"
I saw Dave Chappelle play keys with the Roots last night!!!
Straight up!!! Chappelle came out on stage blazing a spliff about halfway through the Roots set (@ the Warfield in SF) and hopped on the keys for one tune. He played some My Funny Valentine type thing and then got off stage.
The crowd lost it. Then after the show he came out and stage dove onto the crowd.

dave does NOT smoke weed no more. he aint done weed in like 2 years. yall really think he is tyrone biggums lol. he was NOT in rehab. he went to africa to just get away from the stress that is "chapelle show" he is a family man that lives on a farm in dayton that was clearly cigs. and the song was "round bout midnight" yes dave can play jazz if he puts his mind to it.

I was going to say.. In the flim he has out, he says he still gets down with it. Doesn't matter to me, I love his comedy! pothead or not! I'll do all the weed smoking for him, i don't mind! hee hee Stress is right! Man I tried to get tickets to the shows here in the City but of course they were sold out!! I don't hear about him being in town till it's to late!! what up with that?!?!!

seriously dave's a good man. and that's not by comparison either, he is an overall good man. he deserves to be respected as one. if anyone reads any of the interviews with him he's not dumb in any sense, he's very articulate and intelligent. def not a pothead. it pisses me off real bad when people say "YO DAVE WENT CRAZY AND WENT TO AFRICA". now those people are dumbasses.
