So I just want to get something straightened out... Marie is Zap Mama now??? what about the group, they split up or something? Well whatever happens, I hope that Marie doesn't sacrifice any of her music, but when I listen to this video, I can tell that it's probly not gonna go down like that, she's something else... you guys really need to hear a ma zone. peace, much love.

Marie is incredible.. while i was watching this video... i couldnt help but think about her progression as an artist.. i have liked her work for quite some time now and it is interesting to see where she has taken herself as an artist.. she is incredible.. with or without badu!!

of course, badu had nothing to do with this, she was this person from the start... badu probly learned a thing or two from her, or should I say they learned from eachother... peace, much love.

hello..
i own all of zap mamas albums
her music has really morphed over the years..
i LOVE A MA ZONE.. it isnt all in english.. but it didnt bother me..the album is dope.. it has kind of an international hip-hop feel to it..
her album "7" was not for me at all.
i loved "Sabsylma" it is a lot like "sweet honey in the rock" if you are familiar with that band.. if not.. it is pretty much just acapella ladies singing in a language i dont understand.. it is beautiful but not really hip-hop at all..
their debut is good too but again not like her current musical leanings.. ive liked them from the beginning and it has been fun to watch them/her grow and change as an artist..
i didnt even know she knew badu.. and then i saw them on erykahs tour together a few years back.. it was incredible.. marie daulne isnt getting the attention she deserves.. homegirl is living talent

They've been showing the video quite a bit on VH1 Soul if any of you get it. I've seen it the last two days. Cool look to it.
