HAAAARD! c.o. - BILAL.
That mofo, is a FOOL! his ishhh was rough though, definitely, so that ='s DOPE! Easily a commander onstage. Surely part of the reason peeeps fill halls to see this cat MUST be to see WHAT he gonna do that's funny as heeeyall' next!
NOTTS - yo! that cat ain't paid as a producer for nothing - his ishhh is TIGHT & FUNKY.
RIK M - ILL mofo, probably the underdog who came to SHOW, fo' sho'.
Beatminers - i was VERY leery of these cats, cause i think their weekly at Joe's Pub is mostly WACK - but they HIT shit out the park a couple times.
Khyrisis? There IT is. 9th (of the Wondra sort) came onstage a couple times cause he knew his bwoy IS bringing it. That fools bounce is catchy too.
Everybody's remix of "Corners" fit their style perfectly; for ex, Beatminers joint was grimy & dark, Notts was kicking w/an ear for the manstream, etc...Hezekiah's version was dope too, he should've not did thst CRUNK thang at the beginnign though - the beat stood on its own.
Justice League had reps do it (Sean Boog w/ Khrysis as his hype man & Leagcy) - dem cats got the beat-advantage over THE REST OF THE WORLD, therefor it made me listen for the flow over the beat - they holdin it down yo. Leagcy's Star definitely sounds dope onstage - both of them are clear with their enunciation, so cool, though Boog yells a bit too much.
Notts group was ok(DMP?), a bit on the busting caps side too much though - that short dude looked JUST LIKE ICE CUBE'S BRO (I KNOW he must get that alot).
Royce was aiight - his boy Vicious accapella was wet - straight off 106th & Park. The audience wasn't really a mainstream audience, so kicking it about how you gon kick somebody's ass if they don't listen to you is bullshit. Hell, Royce came off like that too. His 2 classics were cool, & so was his apparent upcoming cut w/ol bwoy from ATL. OVerall though, They seem to be just an example of cats who've got alot of money backing them up & think it puts them in a superior position in life. they ain't "hungry". PURELY BULLSHOT FOR THE MASSES OF TODAY, is how they came. WET.
The DJ at the beginning was bringin dope for us too. shot, i coulda sworn he even busted a PPP joint in there. Bringin that GroupHome was just SICK, nigga!
Stef & that guy held it down nicely.
All the producers onstage bought ENERGY w/ them, these cats have a real love of hip-hop, & that's what its all about. great job yo.
good looking', BeatSociety, on the real. y'all got supporters & ears listening. that's HOT.
yo. & yep. ..........................................
Just sayin
Mentally universal. Physically eternal. The beautifull part of this? WE are.
