i just hit in japan last week. i must honestly, and i mean this when i say it, it was 3 of the best shows of my ENTIRE career. it was the first time i have lost my voice at the beginning of a tour , ever. i sounded like ms .jane pittman, for real. but i still rocked it. i was in raw form. the band was on they shit. im talkin bout ....i was givin james brown Q's. oh we was on fire!!! as usual , my videographer, KERWIN, taped the shows......did i mention that i lost my voice and still rocked it....it was on some POOTIE TANG shit ...they was not even minding. infact ...well ya'll get it. it was historic. we cryed. anyhow...im going thru the airport and the last time i saw that bag of tapes was right before immigrations....a japanise dude came up and gave me a gift of paper art that his momma made i put it in the bag with the tapes. lord how mercy ...somebody turn it in. please. what should i do....charge it to the game?....oh well. im offering a 10 million dollar reward and a free round trip to GRAMBLING STATE UNIVERSITY for you and a guest... no, but seriously, i was trully chipped up over that....i guess im okay enough to talk about it...isn't that cold. dont let me see that shit on okay player. im serious, ya'll.

Well, I'm looking at the photos on wireimage and I am so "mad" because Badu gets to dress the way she wants to dress, rock her hair the way she wants to rock it. I haaaate rules!!!! Man, if I could live off being a writer, I would. I'd never set foot in an office ever again! I would just live in the woods, with my son (and my future babies) and call it a life, no rules whatsoever.

How many tapes? VHS, right? Anything else in the bag? What kind of bag, color of bag, size? My friend works in the airport, so i check with them but I need the info because the Japanese are real paticular bout this kind of thing. Also have some other friends that might be able to find out.

Oh damn E!!! what is this, when I read that my heart dropped, I'm feelin so bad, as if they were mine, I'll say a prayer for them to be returned safely, I'm actually gettin a headache thinking about how you must feel, they better be returned!!! I can just imagine the sentimental value to them vidz, I remember when I lost the masters to my song dedicated to my mom, I was like... a part of me died, it was my baby. well, peace, prayers, and much love.

Hopefully who ever has the videos, will realise returning them holds greater rewards, like your self pride, and dignity. Just yesterday, my neighbor gave me a new dvd player that she was throwing out because it was "broken" and she didn't buy a warranty, so I could just have it for parts or whatever (strange). So I bring it home and hook it up, and tha damn thing works beautifully, so I being different (being me) packed it up and returned it to her, showing her that tha cables weren't connected properly, and she was so happy, I just can't believe that she gave it to me, and didn't throw it out... I guess it was waiting for me. Because I'm a good guy.

Well if there lost, then whoever finds them may return them. If they're stolen, there's a good chance somebody intends to use them for their own personal gain.

I hope included in those top three performances was the Sept. 17th, Chicago show cause that was some HOTT shit too. I hate to hear that you lost your bag of tapes, that sucks not only that but I am sure I am on a couple of those if the also filmed the line (Feb. 26th St Louis I wished you happy birthday, the camera man filmed it. Oh well though Erykah I am sure that you will never get those back....CHARGE IT TO THA GAME. Thanks for the inbox you are truley loved and genuine. Can't wait for you to come back to the CHI.
