well no one said "STOP LIKING US!!!" lol.

and since you just got to know us, that means you can catch up on 8 years of good work (if i can say so myself!)

it's just we got this brooklyn bab soundtrack.
a bunch of music for our artists
a bunch of production shit for other cats.
and solo shits.

so honestly. imma start pre production after october. but because of the nature of the sound. it probably won't see the light of day til summer 2001.

while i understand that you're busy with all these projects, is there any chance of releasing another Roots live album in the meantime?

Roots Come Alive is such a dynamic cd, and has definitely got me wanting more live ish from the Roots ('specially since i'm probably gonna have to make an overseas trip just to see them live)

and maybe i'm just a spoiled child but, despite the fact that all the albums mentioned ABOVE (in quest's first post) sound fantastic, i NEED another hit of the Roots..

i'm shaking and twitching here.

thank you, thank you, thank you...for bringing this to hiphop...the states have needed an ambassador to incorporate drum and bass into hip-hop...

i've said it for a LONG time now...when sampling gets too complicated..hip-hop's going to d+b and electronic...*you're lil ditty at the end of "you got me" *see dido's "stan"* and many others...

well, i can't wait...even if it takes 10 years to put the ish out (okay..i don't know about 10 years...7.5 maybe!) i'ma still be the first in line to get it.

dayam ?uest, with executive producing Common's album, working on D's album, your own, and doing production for way too many artists to name (speaking of artists, is asking for a collabo between say, you/Me'Shell/Joi/N'dea Davenport too much of a request to ask for?? ), do you EVER take a break??

just curious....

*Yawn* Me and Kristy were all planning to camp out in front of the Tower records for the Dice Raw jawn, but Mr.Raw is making us wait. Ya'll are hurtin' my heart.

Dice Raw: "Reclaiming the Dead", September 19, 2000" Your just going to have to wait.

The brutal truth is that the bulk of white people in America never had any interest in educating black people, except as this could serve white purposes. It is not the black child's language that is in question, it is not his language that is despised: It is his experience. A child cannot be taught by anyone who despises him, and a child cannot afford to be fooled. A child cannot be taught by anyone whose demand, essentially, is that the child repudiate his experience, and all that gives him sustenance, and enter a limbo in which he will no longer be black, and in which he knows that he can never become white. Black people have lost too black children that way. (James Baldwin)

I don't want to sound stupid or anything for asking this question, but whoever wrote that Bilal's album was gonna be produced by Timb, Jermaine Dupri, and Rodney Jerkins was joking, right? Timb's beat for Aaliyah's "Try Again" was dope as hell, but Bilal's on a whole different level, n/m? That boys a Soultronic, so what am I trippin about? But do I seriously have to wait til November for it to drop?!!! I heard it was supposed to drop in July, and it IS already finished and everything! Ah well, worth the wait!
And D's having a solo album?! With four new tracks?! Helllllll yes!!!! I CANNOT wait! It better be a double CD, n/m? But anyway, love and respect.
