Hi Tek was displeased with Rawkus and how they handled his album. How can you blame any artist for lackluster/unsatisfactory sales if you don't push his product properly. from all the interviews he's done lately it doesn't seem that he was too impressed with Rawkus right now but on the other hand I'd hate to see MCA saturated with of artist in that vein IMHO. At least he'll get better promotion with you all.
heads talking about saadiq and menelik, l-fudge, etc. but name one label that doesn't have the same problems. Rawkus is a record company and has the same drama as any other label, no matter if it is an "underground" establishment.
