With the Wu being knowledged based, I have always taken this to mean that people who don't understand the deeper lyrics of their songs are only caught up on and listening to the beats.

All the lines being quoted are too vague to be said that they were speaking about the Roots. The can be interpeted a bunch of different ways.

And am I the only person who reads liner notes? In TFA ?uest talks about them doing a show in which the Wu gets on stage with them and rock it. Specifically named RZA.

I know you WAY smarter than that....atleast I hope. Fans always hyping shyt up. I'm sorry if RZA REALLY called out Quest it would be headline news on some popular Rap mag and I read most of em and have never heard of it...so I'm more than doubtful it happened. As for the so-called rap disses..Kid..wtf do you just hear the word drum and automatically think Quest? None of those lyrics even made me think of anything that has to do with the Roots. Let's not make something out of nothing please...
