>I've always been curious about that. > Or just the labels >get those?
It's on subscription basis. Don't call me a hater, but that's kinda weak especially since the CD was mad cheap. I've been talking to alot of people about the album, and some of the older folks, 32-45 aren't feeling all the cursing. I know some may feel they're out of the demo, but yo they are really supporting the "neo-soul" artists. These are the same people who copped Jill, India.Arie, Erykah, Musiq, Maxwell, D'Angelo, and one cat in particular (pretty open-minded) said that he wasn't feeling Bilal for the same reason. All the best to Jag, 'cause I thought the album was cool, but the language is definitelty alienating folks. Partcularly some of those listeners who listen to the Adult R&B stations. Those folks buy albums!!! "Cause they have the discretionary income, and alot of them aren't computer savvy enough to download the stuff off the net.
21k, Jag is in for an uphill battle, hope she has a hot second single. 'Cause she damn sure can't push the album by touring in her pregnant state.
But by the way LG, could we get some soundscan #'s on other relevant artists latest works?
