here’s what i have come up with…
DIETARY THINGS… watch your water intake…you should be drinking at least a gallon of water per day lower caffine, dairy, and any alcohol use (cut them out all together if you can)
LIFESTYLE… WATCH YOUR STRESS LEVEL…seriously…our wombs are where we keep absolutely everything and your emotional memory is much longer than the one in your head…so toxic situations/places/people…will have a negative effect on your womb
FOODS AND SUPPLEMENTS… bay berries
berries of any sort actually are really good for the womb as well as all red fruits
vitamins E, B6, C, PABA, and folic acid all effect estrogen levels and metabolism…so make sure you’re getting enough…i recommend taking pre-natal vitamins…
zinc, copper, and calcium metabolism play a role in menstrual afflictions as well…you may want to have your gyn check these out…
brewer’s yeast/nutritional yeast…shake it on top of whatever
cold-pressed vegetable oils (olive and sesame)…the best way to consume these is in a salad dressing…*b/c heated oils become carcinogenic* (this doesn’t stop ME from stir frying in olive oil however…do you)
kelp is good for menstrual difficulties of all sorts
cramp bark, wormwood, pennyroyal, peppermint, catnip, black cohosh, mugworth, life root, ginger, parsley, balm, hops, slippery elm, peach leaves
preventive for vomiting (recommended for pregnant women)…equal parts white poplar bark and clover
these are best taken in the form of a tea… (instructions for leaves)
1 tsp of diced herbs in a cup pour boiling water over and let steep for 10-15 minutes
*if you can…make up a batch before bed and let it steep overnight
