Classmate friend but his momma called my momma and asked for a sleepover. It was a first. It was cool. Except at some point my dad went on a "these white people" rant and didn't know the little boy was in the house.

I think I even stayed over his house. Blew my mind they had milk with their dinner.

the other way around though? how is that possible unless you still live in the HOOD hood and only congregate with ppl there

and what about coworkers and old classmates

every time a Ferguson/Bmore riot type event happens
i come to work and listen to coworkers* talk about why it's messed up etc
and if someone kind of goes off path a lil bit i steer them back to the right direction
if i wasn't cool with ppl they wouldn't even talk about that stuff around me much less be receptive to my explanations/opinions
i don't see how it can hurt


*admittedly i work with a demographic that stereotypically has above average intelligence, is non religious, and is liberal
that's not always true but mostly in my experience. if you work with conservative meatheads i can see how this would be difficult

that's the only difference between the two.

As far as olive branches go there is no branch for blacks to extend nor is it really for us to extend one IMO. This doesn't mean "hate white folks" it does however mean we should tread lightly in establishing relationships with the vast majority.

There is much we can do as a group to better and improve ourselves and overall condition, but there is much, much, more that has been done to put us into such a position where that's needed. Until that's truly addressed and taught there can be no 'group' outreach.

mostly white then indian and black are tied then asian

In our actual office, I don't even go to because like i said earlier they only kick it with the soft or nerd niggas...they don't speak...they move out the way when I walk thru...avoid eye contact..etc

I just go to the actual gvt agency where WE pretty much any and everywhere in the hierarchy and people(including the white folks) act somewhat normal...not too many yt dudes in my age bracket besides my boss

Detroit is the most segregated city in United States with a black-white dissimilarity score of 79.6. Detroit is almost all Black, beside a little Latinx community in the southwest. Whites mostly stick to the suburbs like Grosse Pointe, Dearborn, and Ferndale.

most communities in america are still pretty segregated

and not all majority black communities are south philly/marcy projects.

i don't think that has anything to do with it really
assuming you work in corporate america you are still coming into constant contact with ppl of other races

Had one sell me a soft water treatment tank and alkaline faucet. Then again, I only been in my hone since May. I have a small amount of non- Black friends and I would say that only one of them would probably come through. The rest only if I threw a function of some sort.

I may be different than many people, but I kind of don't like having too many people over my house. Color/race, etc. makes no difference.

October 2nd was my baby shower and i have all kinds of friends but this lady who ive known since i was 16 came and helped me decorate and moderated games for me. Her husband also catered the food, but he is black.

I visited a guy in my bands home who is white, his wife and kids are all white...he had clothes he was giving away since his twin boys Holden and Oddly had grown out of them. He also wanted me to record a hook on a song he is working on.

Not sure why any of this is important, but u asked and im bored waiting on my fast food to cook so, i bit.
