There's a stand off going on in my house right now, because my man copped a hissy fit yesterday when I asked him to hold my work bag! Now we have some other outstanding beef that's adding tension but we were in the incredibly long ass line for the Kara Walker exhibit yesterday and he said he wanted to go home if he had to hold my work bag... Lol Well he invited himself anyway so I told him to go home then if he couldn't hold it. Like 1. It wasn't a purse because I don't carry one to work anymore, it's just a bag. 2. I had just gotten off work and holding it in that long ass line was digging into my arm. 3. He's held my damn purse before! Lol

It's just pissing me off because though he has outstanding warrants, we were perfectly fine up until I asked him to hold the damn bag. I was originally going alone until he invited himself to go and the he ruined my mood right before going into the exhibit.

I may be tripping but I really don't think as a man holding your woman's bag or purse while you're standing right next to each other is that big of deal. He's African but he's been here over 20yrs and he has no other said issues besides wanting us to be together 24/7 lol

Why didn't you leave that jawn at work if you were going somewhere right after? Or sit it on the ground while you waited in line?
