Friggin 20 year old coke dealer caught him slipping with a rambo blade that had rust on it so 12 stitches and a tetnus shot. Good thing that he's a good fighter cause shit could've been alot worse. Got him in the hand while swiping for his mid-section. Almost took his finger off. I wasn't there and I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

Now we got decisions to make cause the beef is cooking. Wouldn't be hard to find out where we live. Do we retaliate? Do we hide? Biggest problem is that their crew don't have anything to lose. They're alot younger and in that 'dont give a shit about nothing' age with no responsibilities. But if we don't do anything...that might encourage them to get more aggressive. The smell of fear and all that. I'm leaning towards hiding out and letting things cool down. Obviously, my roomie is a little more emotional about it than me. Trying to convince him to at least take a couple days to think about it.

The weird thing about it is that he got stabbed in his right hand around 4 years ago and just had reconstructive surgery 6 months ago to fix two fingers that were still messed up from that. Now he gets stabbed in the other hand. Shitty deal. I told him that, going forward, he should make a greater effort to avoid getting stabbed in his hands.

Me and my roomie are both recovering addicts. We'd noticed that the stabber had been getting deeper into his habit....getting paranoid and sketchy and all that. In any case...my roomie's been effing with the stabber's step-sister. Just a casual thing....and the stabber is really protective of her. To be honest....we had already kinda noticed that there's some weird shit going on with that guy and his step-sister. Like he's got a crush on her or something like that. They're not blood-related and she's got a fantastic ass so it makes sense.

He was really coked up and drunk and basically started saying some shit about his sister and got a little offsides. Roomie backed him up cause he was getting too aggressive and threatening. More words exchanged....Roomie slapped him in the face. Dude pulled out the rambo knife. Took a few swipes. Connected with the hand. Other people intervened and Roomie went to the hospital.

Kids were at various places. They don't live with us full-time. We have a rotating sched with each of them so on a given day there might be one kid here, or 2, or 3, or 4, or none.

I'm breathing a sigh of relief. Stabber's friend just sent a text seeking a truce. Turns out they're more scared than us. Thing is...my roommate's family has clout. He's got 16 siblings...10 of which are male and they're some hard-knock dudes.

My concern was that these guys were younger and don't give a fuck. But we have numbers cause for every brother that my roommate has....there's more friends attached to them as well. My roomie is kinda the 'artist' of his family....he's tuff but some of his brother's are realer. I'm guessing the stabber's crew started adding up all those people together and realized they were effed.

I tried to convince roomie to accept the truce but he's not gonna be that agreeable. They're still texting as we speak....but basically my roomie is setting the terms. Noone on the periphery (me too, gulp) messes with noone on the condition that the stabber gotta fist-fight roomie in a month from now (so his hand can heal a bit). They haven't accepted yet. Oh lord....roomie is gonna absolutely demolish this guy.

And they just accepted.

And my roomie is mocking me for being on 'that nerd chatboard you always go to'.

Man, it's dangerous, stupid, and minus the knife part the epitome of high school behavior, but with way fucking more at risk. A grown responsible man gets attacked with a knife, he doesn't want to go a round with him, he wants that fucker put in jail. Let's say he kicks the kid's ass... what happens the kid presses charges, or the cops break up the fight? All of a sudden the cops see:
-a bigass former addict
-kicking some 20 year old's ass
-the 20 y.o. is a coke dealer
-whose stepsister the former addict guy is fucking
-which led to the fight
