I don't know what to say.
He's one of the reasons why I am in IT. Apple computers, from The apple 2 my Dad bought in 1985 to the MacBook on my nightstand this evening. The iOS devices that I've captured images of my daughter. Unique pieces of my life I have spent with and on devices he had a hand in bringing to fruition. This seems unreal but I knew when he stepped down he was in a bad way.
I never knew the guy but I did, do look up to him and his grand vision of things to come. An incredible innovator whom I'm glad I got to see, use and thoroughly enjoy the fruits of his and Apple Inc's labor. He's an original. Never be another.
I'm a very glad he is no longer suffering and passed on into the infinite loop.
He waited a day after product launch to go. Or that's what he'd have us believe.
The reality is that he's gone and never will be distorted in my eyes.
One of the cofounders said his true genius was recognizing people's skills and pulling them together to realize a vision. In mind that is and he was the true definition of a C.E.O.

that was my first and last mac, loved it. never could justify the price again after that. always wish i could justify a new mac. maybe one day again i will. only other apple product i owned was 2 ipod nanos for running. he def changed the game and upped other ppl's game. for this i am thankful for. probably wouldnt own 2 tablets right now, if it wasnt for him. love him or hate him, he helped change the game. forever.
I was working at Media Play, in the movie section. A former coworker came in one day with an MP3 player on his hip. He told me how much it cost and how much music it held.
