I went and rented NBA 2K6 tonight to grab them achievements real quick and I played for a little bit, turned it off. Came back to play some more and powered it up and it wouldn't recognize the disk. Won't play CDs, DVDs, or anything. FUCK!!! Now I just got off the phone with MS and they're sending me the ol box for it. Aint this a bitch. I was just in Walmart by me too and they had tons of PS3s. I may just pull one as soon as I get my tax refund back. Dammit. Fuckin 360s.

i think mine gonna go soon. i may just go ahead and call MS before my 360 locks up for the final time. its been freezing alot lately, especially when i rented Lost Planet last week. it seemed to always freeze when i was fighting bosses. last night it froze twice when i was playing the GRAW2 demo. then it froze during Fight Night.

It'll let me on the dashboard, access my music, arcade games, demos, etc. It just won't recognize any discs. So that drive is finished. But when I talked to them I named every single issue that's happened with it (freezing) just so they get it straight. Hopefully they send me a new one.

Weak...mine just came back today. Its a new one with a make date exactly a year after mine original.

I called on a Wednesday night. The box came the following Monday.

THE LAME BROADS IN MY APT COMPLEX LOBBY DIDN'T TELL ME, SO I HAD TO TRACK THE PACKAGE TO REALIZE THAT THEY HAD IT. By the time that was straight, it was Friday.

From there...

It took a weekend (Fri evening to Monday afternoon) for them to get it.

From THAT Monday, I got my new XBox (they replaced it) on THE SAME Thursday.

So...

Even with a week lost to due to non-M$ BS, it was 2 and half weeks.

I'm in Houston and the repair center is in Texas somewhere. It may take you a few days longer.

Madden froze one time during the first session (FYI...I was winning 6-3 versus the Steelers in the playoffs with the ball about to score a TD).

Oh...this is a good a time as any to mount the high horse/soapbox...

360/PS3 Madden sucks. My time with the PS2 version just cemented that fact. On the PS2, the audibles on defense give you a chance to combat the BS. And the corners actually cover the fuckin receivers if you call the right plays! So..if you play 'Off'/cushion coverage (damn near a prevent) on PS2, THERE'S NO WAY ANY WR IS GONNA GET 5 YARDS BEHIND YOUR CORNER AND SAFETY ON A SIMPLE FLY ROUTE.

On 360, I'm 10-5 WITH THE RAIDERS. I played half the season on All-pro (6-2), and the other on All-Madden (4-3), but I refuse to finish the season/continue playing the computer unless I find some sliders.

I've tried to play the last game and the playoffs several times, but the NBA Jam-level of cheating (absurd..multiple consecutive possession fumbles after a season filled with not fumbling) and nearly dead defensive AI (My defense on All-Madden has gotten worse as the season goes on. Now, the other ten guys are a joke with offensively horrid tackling angles and just sad giveaway CB play) is too overbearing for me to take the games seriously enough to finish them. I HAVE to laugh to stop from chunking the game against the wall and breaking it (Street Fighter Collection on PS One was the last time I broke a disc). I already lost the case to a wall throw months ago.

i didnt know u had to change the settings on the xbox. Like i thought it would automatically change to the best setting. So for the first day i played on the default setting. Then my brother switched to 1080 and WOW, night and day.

If it still doesn't detect the hard drive, then they want me to send the system back in. BULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHITTTT. First of all, them mufuckas should have sent me a brand new box. Sent me my same shit that now reads discs but can't detect the hard drive. The hard drive that hasn't even been touched since the damn box was sent off. I'm heated.

I understand we live in a global economy and all, and people in other countries need to work to provide for their families and whatnot...
