Anyone else picked this up? It's a point-n-click style mystery game for the Nintendo DS that came out yesterday

I've already gotten sucked in and I've put about 4 hours into it, and I'm ready to call it one of the best games on the system; It takes full advantage of both the touch screen and dual screen features, and it's like nothing else out there today

You play as a disgraced cop turned salesman who is searching for his missing ex-partner, and you snoop around a hotel hunting for clues and asking questions. It's incredibly dialogue heavy so it's not for everyone, but the story plays out like a classic film noir

I know there are pretty of Phoenix Wright fans in here, so if you're looking for something equally creative I say give it a try

soon as I beat Fire Emblem. It's been getting great reviews.

the art style and controls are really nice.

I skipped class this morning to play it, lol

Im selling back Castlevania and am gonna buy it tomorrow. It's nice to hear that it's good. I was a big fan of point and click adventures back in the day.

along with Elite Beat Agents, and FFV Advance. My brothers copping FFIII and i will soon get Pheonix Wright: Justice for All.....GOTDAMN, the DS has an amazing library.

I still think some of the greatest games in history are in that genre....if you like Hotel Dusk at all, play the following:

Maniac Mansion
Day of the Tentacle
Monkey Island (all four of them)
Sam and Max Hit the Road
Full Throttle
Grim Fandango

and that's counting stuff like Minesweeper.

If I end up liking it I'll check those out though. They make em for Mac or any consoles?

Which is a shame, because that's arguably the greatest achievement of the point-n-click era. Google tells me that you can emulate it (or something) on a Mac though, with limited playability

i liked phoenix wright up until the last case which was just so tedious and the clues were really badly explained...
