i couldn't figure out the Select button so i died and lost all my progress (i only made it to the cave but still...)

the select button is whatever you set it to in the emulator, but saves states is a save guaranteed

i just got the scale that lets you swim.. turns out i had been there but hadn't gone all the way up to the edge

plus when the elder marked the spot on the map it doesn't show where on the map it is (unless it's hidden by clouds)

after i spent 15 minutes slashing the 6 jumping statues lol

this water shit is frustrating with the flying tiles

i got the first jewel.. was in the graveyard getting the 2nd but there's a mummy,
the masked rodent, the laser statues, and the dropping hand all on the same screen lol

i can't fathom it getting harder but i know it does

which is its simplicity in difficulty and reliance on puzzle solving. It does more "overly-difficult" frustratingly inane situations that Zelda fans don't really like. I mean ther's no methodical strategy to going thru with it like all the other games.

And worst of all there's that gay fuckin' "hidden-item-somewhere-you'll-never-look-but-is-key-to-proceeding-any-further" type dealy he put's in there that NO GAMER likes to deal with. BACKTRACKING like a mafucker in that damn Gaurds Barracks dungeon. Super Gay.

just swim all the way to the left

i mean, it's pitch black and you got the little flashlight
there's statues shooting lasers at you
3 worms coming out the floor with the debris while the stone face shoots fireballs at you
the moving wall cannons
masked rodents and mummies

the last straw was the falling hand..

i wouldnt be able to beat that without save states

I've gotten all the way inside the Gaurd barracks without any sword or shield. Is this how its supposed to be?

The creator of the 2D fan remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time recently passed away in a fatal car accident. Dampe (as he was known on the forums) devoted himself to the OoT2D project for months, pausing only when he joined the military. Upon his return he resumed work and promised a demo would be released soon. With his death, the game, the official OoT2D webpage as well as the forums are closed forever.

Dampe's project was ambitious. He was so committed to creating a faithful reproduction it's rumored he was including glitches found in the original gold cart version of the game. A video from late last year shows the game in action.

Thanks for your dedication. Thousands of people you never even knew appreciate your hard work.
