so i'm thinking about upgrading to a macbook (the black one)

should i wait? is there new stuff coming down the pipeline? i'm using a powerbook g4 right now with 1.33ghz and 512mb ram. it's beginning to fall apart. literally. the case on the left side is coming loose, the keyboard is popping, my safari shuts down every so often but i've used it really hard for a good 3 years and its gone through one hard drive replacement.

i've heard people have been having problems with the new intel laptops so i've been leery but i might make the dive. any suggestions? thanks

wait until the 8 of january.. jetblack lemme know that macworld is coming up on that date.. and supposedly theres a good chance that they update alot of their products..

EDIT: i just checked the apple site and now it says it's supposed to come out sometime in Spring. i'm looking into a MacBook as well.
