"SONY MDR-V60 Headphones??"


  

          

i need some decent headphones to start djing with. I found some sony MDR-V600's used for 50 bucks. Good headphone for the price? or should i lay down a hundred bucks on another pair?

w/the cd/mp3 player, avoid any Sony phones.

Every pair I've tried was obviously nowhere near a neutral mix (though they oftend did sound pretty damn good).


Beyond that I don't know too much about dj phones....

I own the MDR-V600s. I don't recommend them for pleasure listening, but they are LOUD, block out a good amount of outside noise, and are damn near indestructible. That's what you want in DJ headphones.

$50 is a decent price.

Now that I think about it, a neutral mix prolly don't too much matter long as it's least in the ballpark.


I know there's a number of single-cup phones out there, is there any reason to get those instead of like a folding set?
