I know there are some major MGS Heads in here. This is pretty amazing stuff. Subtitled but worth it IMO... I thought MGS3 was one of the better looking games on the ps2. Theres a point in this video that they say Snake's mustache has about the same poly count as the enemy soldiers in MGS3

Sorry, I heart MGS. I would love to just sit in on some of those development and design meetings. Maybe just look over their shoulders as they develop. That team seems to always push the bounderies of design and gameplay.

I know, I know. So you got the 360? How are you feeling about it thus far?
Honestly, Im waiting on the ps3 only because of this game. I look at it like this, most games I want to play (most, not all) are going to be on both platforms anyway. But MGS is really the only game I am am locked onto. After seeing this, its really a no brain-er for me.
<disclaimer>*note to 360 supporters: I am by no means saying one is superior to the other, just saying that for me MGS makes the difference. I dont want to start that debate!</disclaimer>

I hate I missed this the first time it was posted. The fact still remains that its a cool ass video regardless of when or who posted it wherever lol. Obviously there were a few of us who missed it. I was hoping to simply get some conversation going about our shared excitement about MGS, not argue about credit. You would have to admit that the first time you saw it "4 months ago", it got you pretty hype right? ok, so here I am "4 months" later, seeing it for the first time. Just let me enjoy it with the others that missed it. And If I hyped some of you only to be let down... sorry homie.
About the tech demo thing. They say clearly on the footage that its off a dev box. But in my opinion it still says alot about what the final may look like. I honestly cannot think of a time that the MGS team let us down. They really are not ones to hype you up on false claims and such. The real time lighting and camera controls etc... are pretty damn amazing. I think we all can agree (or maybe not...) that those things were only used in pre rendered video before. Not actual, real time gameplay.
i know i've seen this one before but, holy shit that's amazing. I was already hyped for MGS4 after that E3 trailer came out but gotdamn!! This tells us already that those videos we saw at E3 weren't pre-rendered as ppl mentioned in a previous post. Very impressive, makes me really excited for the future of the PS3
