just bought them for $250 at Apple. I hear you can get them for less online. My Etymotics are more accurate but these are really fun to listen to and the bass is the best I think I've heard in in-ear headphones, period. Very clean, very deep.

I have a CRT, and it's beautiful.
If you have the space and don't mind that it's gonna take two people to carry it if you have to move it, CRT's are the way to go, unless you want them bigger than like 36" or whatever.
I would probably go with an lcd before a plasma, but you're not going to get as good color contrasting, bt plasmas are still kind of expensive.

I ended up buying the 32' LCD Westinghouse from best buy, with the warranty. I only had to pay a 1050 versus the 30 inch CRT that cost 900.
The Westinghouse is a solid TV, and the games look beautiful in 720p. No overscan issues, I got it hooked up to my PC. The only gripe is that it doesn't have HDMI. Which I can deal with, since the cable boxes in my area have a serious defect with HDMI cables that they are refusing to fix.
1099 regular price...but i pulled some strings at the store to get it for 1050....
EDIT: Damn the price went down to 1000....*heads over to BB to get a refund difference*

And they all say the same. The treo 650 is better. They say it tries to do too much and doesn't do any of it well. But the keyboard is better than all other pdaphones. I'm torn now.

only dedicated palm users are going to say the 650 is better.
It is in 0 ways superior to the 6700. The 6600 is better than the treo, and the 6700 is far better than the 6600.
I like the pocket pc platform, and i like windows mobile 5 better than the 2003se I'm running now. it's not totally without it's issues, but neither is any other pda phone.

I had t-mobile before nad I NEVER had signal and ALWAYS dropped calls, you can ask anybody herewho tried to call me, my sprint phone tho always has signal, although sometimes my 6600 doesn't ring and callers go straight to voicemail (much like the sidekick does).
replacing equipment, sprint does the insurance thing, I've heard they can be sheisty sometimes (like trying to replace a 6600 w/ a treo 650)

To big up the 6700.... I have a 6600 but I love it and I can only imagine that the 6700 is even better... I'm a staunch advocate for Verizon(at least in the metro DC area).... EVDO is fast as shit.. really really fast....not dial up 56K fast, but DSL circa 2003 fast...

and i think i'll be coppin the Panasonic TH-50PHD8UK. it has no tuner, no speakers, and if you want HDMI you gotta buy a $195 expansion card...but its said to be the best 50" plasma outside of the fujitsus.
if you need a tuner and don't want to bother with all the expansion card nonsense, get the consumer version: TH50PX50U. (fyi - the main difference between the two versions aside from inputs are visual tweaking options in the 50phd8uk via service menus and such, so if you plan on getting your display calibrated go for the phd8uk.)
the TH-50PHD8UK is currently sold out/on order in many places, but newegg got some in stock for about $3,299 right now.
if i can't get the panasonic, i'll probably go pioneer elite 1130hd.

i've seen the consumer panasonic 50" at a shop and it looked good, but then i saw the pioneer panel and was blown away by the picture. the video looked a lot brighter and smoother. i'll be watching this in a well lit living room, so i can benefit from a brighter picture. and even better is the pioneer has independent settings for day and night.
also, the wealth of connection options wrapped into a convenient media box makes for an easier setup, with only one cord running to the display. the bezel is a lot better than the panasonic, with its shiny piano black finish. this thing will look good on the wall.
