We just recorded the first video and sound is decent but it would be better with a mic. So I can control the levels better. I have a microphone and this mixer https://www.alesis.com/products/view/multimix-4-usb-fx But i dont have a way to hook up iphone to the mixer to get the sound. So im looking for cheap solutions. Should I get an external webcam and record through my laptop and ditch the iphone all together?

I have a logitech usb webcam, the c922, the 920 is basically as good and much cheaper but when I needed one it was the only one available.
