"easiest CompTIA certification between Cloud+, Network+, & Server+?"

my job just recently threw out an easier path to promotion if you have one one these, I figure one should be easy to knock out, I actually had a Network+ study guide a while back but never took the test

of them would be hard or one that's easier than the other, if you're starting with zero knowledge of the subject.

Once you get past an entry level, employers are going to want to see more specialized certs anyways (AWS, CCNA, etc). If it were me, I'd go down the cloud path (DevOps or SecDevOps), though.

those were even a thing. Under old management they didn't really care about certs if you had quantifiable experience. New management is very big on certs. They threw out those CompTIA certs, CCNA, MCSE:CI and some vendor specific cert for some other hardware we use.

I figured one of the CompTIA certs would be the easiest and quickest.

I have my CISSP and CCNA-Security already. Signed up for both CompTIA exams...didn't bother studying for either, was in and out...now I have those stupid CompTIA certs too.

credits to be fulfilled in order to maintain them. If you have other certs, the education credits overlap, but if all you have are the CompTIA certs...seems like an awful lot of training to keep up with for those certs.

about 40hrs per year and the "maintenance" fees, I easily cost my employer two or three grand a year and that's being way conservative, cuz those training/conferences and travel/lodging are hella expensive.

Mine are all good for life thankfully. I wouldn't even bother to renew if I had to, unless my job just demanded it.
