I'm running Win7 64bit why? cause i want to ...lol

what i wanted to ask is what do you think the best media player is for the OS and why please and thank you i need to get off this itunes

I think Kawaii Codec Pack is preferred over CCCP these days.

lighter than VLC
supports everything except Apple's DRM videos

also comes with haali splitter so if you play a lot of dual audio files, you can set your default language to play automatically

But yeah, MPC-HC is much better than VLC. Bleeding edge video playback (e.g., 10-bit, subtitle support, and more).

As for music players, Foobar is my player of choice, although you're going to have to be willing to do some customization if you want to get the most of out if. You can install a normal skin/theme and it'd be adequate, but I need to add a few things of my own before I'm happy.
